retina的屏幕看着太舒服了，我背后就是大窗户，以前用桌子上的大显示器，都要拉上
shade，黑乎乎的用，否则屏幕反光太厉害啥也看不清
现在用retina显示，虽然这东西光亮，但是让我惊讶的是，反光使用非常清晰。。。现

本来打算去的车程2小时的Kansas那家马场，在上周四打了无数电话和发了e-mail后没
有任何回音，估计这家当时自己度假去了（今天倒是给我回了信，说very sorry to
miss you, we are close on holiday）。又找了密苏里的一家，但有点远，200多 迈
，当天来回有些不划算。Walnut Shade 和Kansas City, St. Louis大致呈一个等边三
角形，所以最后我们决定到St. Louis住一晚，次日游览St. Louis后再回来。

从KC开到Walnut Shade大概3个小时，我们上午10点多出发，到那里1点半左右。本想可
以赶上2点那一趟，但前面已有6 、7个人排队，只剩下一匹空余的马。主人说再过半个

（生意可真不错！）。赶紧进去登记、交钱。等大家都上了马，大概3点我们这一队7、

现在不是换草的好时候，等夏末秋初吧。
还要注意院子光照问题。如果PART SHADE/SHADE，不能用BLUE GRASS的SOD，SEED草种
选择比SOD多。

但是，这套衣服的设计者，丫的，就是一居委会大妈的水准。
首先，这个黄选的很土。黄色的shades有n中，片片选择了最僵硬最不轻盈的土黄色。
再者，黄色和红色本来就容易冲，结果设计师来个对半分，一半红一半土黄，要多震撼
有多震撼，要多冲击有多冲击。
当两种都很拉风的颜色必须同时出现的时候，首先shades要选偏柔和的。其次，最好一

因为小的时候玩沙子的地方有点shade，比较没有那么暴晒。大了骑车/跑步/踢足球/打
篮球的地方都能一眼看到，所以大人运动的时候比较放心小朋友自己玩。
另外Camino Ruiz尽头的公园也很新，玩的设施比较多，可是因为没有shade，所以去得
比较少。那边小朋友比较多。

了十几种花草，包括一棵石榴树。
几点入门建议：
1，网络上搜一些花草介绍，要找本地的，有个植物Hardy zoom，SD应当是9-10之间
2，到home depot，Lowes和nursery（苗圃）去科普下，先看植物，抄下名字或拍照，
回家做功课
如果关注不足，可搜shade loving植物或part shade.

climb. Total distance 26mile, about 20 riders. Hot, upper 90s without much

发帖数: 1 | 33 說到Fly的顏色這個話題，我不知道Chum能不能看到顏色，或者說他們的視覺對可見光
譜中什麼波長的光（顏色）最敏感。
我這裡的經驗是釣Striper，Weakfish的Fly我多數時候用的是chartreuse over white.
原因是鱸魚的眼睛對chartreuse最為敏感，但是Weakfish看不見顏色，他們主要是看
Shade，chartreuse over white 正好也可以模擬類似bait fish的shade。但是這個顏
色組合只在他們吃”White Bait“，（Spearing，anchovy，silver side）的時候才管
用。
但是我也遇到過天還沒全黑的時候全黑的Fly也可以釣到魚。魚喜歡什麼還真的說不定。 |

In general, if you chase the sun during the day, you can climb in t-shirts
around noon, but you need a down sweater in the shades. I didn't like Joshua
Tree that much the first few times, harsh rock, despirate slabs, crowds.

My 3rd leg is my hardest leg. It starts with a continous 3.5 mile climb,
which gets gradually steeper. It then follows a 3 mile downhill almost as
steep. The course started out in the shade. "Nice", I said to myself. First

【简介】
去年底跑了一个号称美国one of the toughest的50迈，中间膝盖受伤了，跑得非常痛
苦不堪，去年的Twin peaks 50mi比赛报告在这儿：

这回这个老山羊50迈没有那个难，Elevation Gain只有13400+ft(4100+米)，也是UTMB
上面的一个2分的race. Elevation Profile:
这比赛其实后半程就是双峰山的路线, 只不过双峰山50迈需要两个峰各爬两次，这比赛
只用各爬一次.
【准备】
这回情况其实和上次相似，我基本还是在准备5月份的OC Marathon,没有专门准备这个
50迈，周1和周3还是跑了两次hard run, 周5休息一天，周4/周5吃了两天carb.
因为这个比赛可能是7月份Hardrock 100之前唯一安排的一个ultra race,所以本来应该

Played at Rock Creek Tennis Center last night. There are more than 12 very
nice hard and clay courts, with lights.
Spot two courts on my way home this morning at Rosemary park, just north of
DC. Parked my car, played for about 30 minutes, one court is completely in
shade at 8:30am, not bad.
Came back home to watch Stosur lost to Kanepi at Wimbledon. Those are some eye-

我们这次旅行之前有些朋友告诉我们Miami/Everglades NP/Key West/Dry Tortugas那里
没什么好玩的，所以我觉得有必要从我的角度先给整个旅程一个总体的评价。LP和我都
是比较喜欢
自然风光的那种人，对人文的东西虽然也喜欢，但是不怎么执著 (后面我会介绍到的)
。所以我们
对整个旅行/景点安排还是十分满意的。
首先介绍一下我们的情况。出行时间是11月上旬，一行一共6人：岳父岳母，两个4岁以
下的孩子，加上LP和我。出行的主要目的是为了让已经忙了大半年的父母能有机会好好
放松一下，
另外也兼顾两个小不点的娱乐需要，所以，我在选择地点上focus在海边，一来免去跋
山涉水的辛
劳，另一方面，小孩子也喜欢玩沙子，娱乐成本很低:-)

殿里的那个到了high level也很难打，还有是第一个敌人Shade（忍者）。Epic的论坛

我的心得是
1、 要确定主题 ---圣诞，生日，情人节，复活节还是万圣节
我这个显然是为圣诞节做的，因此选假长青树环为底。店子里还有卖白色FOAM的环，可
吸水插鲜花的环，可以用在其他主题上。
当时是我们从中西部搬来后第一个圣诞节，非常想念冰天雪地的美景。所以我定的主题
是：圣诞，雪，冷。
2、 确定COLOR SCHEME。这一步不一定在SHOPPING以前做，因为一来商店里的东西
有限，不一定有你想要的；二来商店里的东西可以给你灵感。
我在Michaels SHOPPING的时候看见这个小球，非常喜欢
所以我决定把颜色定为蓝色和白色
买东西的时候，要主意买不同SHADE的蓝色和白色的装饰，这样做出来的东西才层次丰
富，有立体感。而且这些小装饰的形状，TEXTURE都要有变化。比如
这个是不同SHADE的蓝色的果子，整个枝条成长形
这个有比较亮大小不一富有TEXTURE的果子，整体形状成圆形，还有一个整体成方形银
白色的暗示是雪花的装饰。还有银色的象是裹了冰的枝叶。
