Piper mentions the massive 21-volume set of Simeon’s sermons that form a
commentary on the Bible. Having read what I did above, I was eager to get
ahold of these. Sadly they are not in print. So I have started a personal
campaign to persuade the good folks at Logos to produce a version of them.

Chinese church are longer than most American church. Their sermons is
usually 1 hour to 1.5 hours, the rest program is about half hour to 1 hour.
Then there is lunch about 1 hour.
We are luck to get home by 2 pm.
If we go shopping afterward, then the whole day is gone.
not to mention there are 1 hour bible study before or after the program. |

在整本《圣经》里，没有比罗得及其家庭的历史更发人深省的了。他自己的人生清楚
显明了义人是如何在几乎不可能的情况下得救；他的女婿则代表了这个不经意的，享乐的
世界是怎样看待福音；他的妻子，则是那种被说服，但从未归正的人：她逃离了将要来的
忿怒，却还是毁灭了；而天使拉住迟延不走的家人的手，则象征了神拯救灵魂时所用的那
种仁慈的"暴力"和全能的怜悯。
今天我想帮助你们思想罗得妻子的事例，来看那些步其后尘的人会有什么下场。
教义：许多灵魂被唤醒，逃离了忿怒，却又回头看，结果失丧了。
1．许多人受良心意识到的恐惧驱使，抽身飞逃；但当这种恐惧平息下来时，他们回
头看，结果失丧了。
罗得的妻子就是这样。她不象所多玛的人--沉迷于罪恶和世俗当中，根本不关心他们
的灵魂。她不象她的女婿--以为她丈夫说的是戏言。她是真的被吓住了， |

因一人的悖逆，众人成为罪人；照样，因一人的顺从，众人也成为义了。
——罗马书五9
我们成为罪人和成为义人的两条道路恰恰是平行的。我们一读这节经文，就能看出这
个关系。我们的眼睛越被开启，看到里面蕴藏的奇妙真理，就越能发现，所有称义的人被
称义与他成为罪人的途径是一模一样的。
未归正之人不明白这个真理。"属血气的人不领会神圣灵的事，并且不能知道"（哥前
二14）。我相信你们那些属肉体的人今天若稍稍明白这句话的意思，会认为它无比愚拙，
虽然其实它是神拯救罪人的方案。如果福音要取悦于属肉体的人，那它就不是福音，它就
会不攻自破。
你们了解这两个真理，实在是非常重要。它们对灵魂而言就是生命。你必须了解第一
个，你是怎样成为罪人的，这样你才能躺在基督的脚下，象一个死亡的，被定罪的人；你
也必须了解第二个，罪人是怎样成为义的，以便你能获得信心所带来的所有平安和喜乐。
但愿圣灵今天开启你我所有人的眼睛！

这比喻又说了一遍。祂向他们描述了真牧人和假牧人，描述了进羊圈的门。然而他们仍不
知所云。于是祂说："我实实在在的告诉你们，我就是羊的门。"你看祂是多么耐心地教导
他们。弟兄姐妹们，基督今天仍是这样一个和善耐心的教师。我们中间难道没有愚笨而且
