很久没说这个话题。记得10年前，整整10年了，我在朋友聚会的时候说了印度人的优点
。记得被一批人鄙视得一塌糊涂。老中的问题是什么？不会做PPT？不会说话？自负加
自恨？同胞拆台？
都是，都不全是。
美国的一切游戏规则都在桌面上。问题是，大部分老中做得实在不好。我举个些例子：
1）过于迷恋高科技等。美国的情况是，低技术往往是大众需要的，比如修个空调，卖
个保险什么的，才是第一桶金的重要来源。
2）过于迷恋高技术，轻视初级项目经理工作
一个软件工程师要成为项目经理估计得8年。而大学一毕业，大部分老中不乐意申请做
初等项目经理的，即使做了，因为工资低，做的PPT也不好，往往被技术ARCHITECT白眼
，很快老中就去做技术。无数MIS毕业的都是如此。大学里学的SDLC一辈子都用不上。

择了，所以职业规划上想请大家指点一下。
一个offer是一个major bank的IT solution部门，团队人比较多，Java/.Net/android/
iOS，做银行内部系统，manager貌似蛮支持我的，还说要分配两个junior developer给
我带。感觉银行比较稳定，技术上也比较好忽悠，我没有本地工作经验，上来title就
是Advisory Programmer Analyst了。
另一个offer是美国的Infor，我了解了一下Infor也是一家在enterprise software方面
比较leading的大公司，我这个团队比较小，基本都是Engineer，做Human Capital
Management方面的开发。
我其实从来就没有在IT行业中工作过，也没有参与过任何软件的开发，我都是自学再加
上面试时候的包装，所以我不太确定今后应该向哪个方向发展。我觉得如果在银行，今

直接忽略！
我相信大多数的同学还是出生于普通学校，有个3.3左右的GPA，想找个local的工作，
工资要求不高，给办H1B就行，以后再慢慢发展。对于这样的同学，我想说：停止刷题
吧。一般的这种local中等规模的公司面试也好简历也好，更多的要求是对基础知识的
细节掌握，例如：Java里synchronized method static和不static有什么区别。以及对
sdlc的认识，ailge waterfall你要是都不知道赶紧维基百科吧，楼主曾经面试过很多
local公司，规模也不算小，更多的问题都是问你的知识，至于算法题，最难的一道也
只是，给你一个int 数组，让你remove掉duplicates, 所以说，对于找local工作的同
学多看看java interview questions之类的网站反而跟有助于你拿到offer. |

must familiar with SQL, API, and SDLC. 现在140 RFE 要提供evidence证明有这个
能力。 是不是需要把学校教的书或者ppt啥的打印出来 证明我有学过，然后考试成绩
是什么。需不需要教授签名啥的啊。有什么更好的建议嘛？还有类似于api啥的是在同
一家公司intern时候学的， 这个是不是不算啊。非常感谢。 |
