给我发的信, 问是否对office group感兴趣.
我给对方回信约好了今天电话面试.
一开始对方介绍了他们的group,然后给我介绍了一些
SDET的情况. ( 5分钟过去了)
然后问我做的PROJECT,正好我做的PROJECT 完全是用
微软的产品, 从.NET compact framework,C#, SQL 到
pocket pc develoment tool, mappoint 都是微软的.
他问我在TEAM里的ROLE, 是否做过TEST方面的工作.
我回答做过.
他问我的问题是:
1. 你如何在pocket pc 上TEST 你的程序. 你考虑了哪些
方面.
2. 如果将你的程序的语言扩展到非英语,例如中文, 你如何
测试.
3. 给你一个COCAN, 你如何测试(我最开始没懂COCAN是什么,
他解释给我说就是罐装的可口可乐).
4. 当你的程序遇到BUG的时候，你选择怎样处理.

9月底时, 在MS网站上投了简历, 因为我平时是用java的, 我就投了一个java的
position, 不明白他们为什么要招java的. 后来就有一个微软外包的staffing company
的recruiter和我联系, 说有一个sdet position问我感不感兴趣, 我当然感兴趣啦,
testing就testing吧. 然后她就帮我安排phone interview.
现在说说phone interview的过程. phone interview我的那个人又是一个recuiter,微
软自己的那种. 但是她搞了一堆技术问题来问我, 她说她手上拿着答案呢.
有一些behavior question:
为什么要来微软? 我说微软好啊, 大家都知道微软, 微软的人很厉害. 拍了一下马屁
工作中你遇到和别人意见不一样时你怎么办? 我说有意见就说嘛, 小组讨论时有不同
意见就要讲出来嘛.
你在过去的一年中有没有做过什么和工作无关的technology的事? 我说我学了一下C#,

见了5个人
1，问了一下做过的PROJECT和一些BEHAVIOR的问题，CODING问题是两个SORTED的数组
MERGE，另一个是把一个BINARY TREE，变成每个NODE的LEFT指向它的PARENT，RIGHT没
有限制，但要求变换后任能访问任意一个NODE。我问了两个问题，这哥们也是新手，回
答的模棱两可
2第二个哥们在MSFT工作了8年，上来就开始回答前面那个哥们没回答的问题，侃侃而谈
，一个CODING的问题，一个数组，有大小写字母和数字，一次编历，大写字母在一起，
小写字母在一起，数字在一起，
3第三个是HIRING MANAGER，问了一下PROJECT，CODING怎么确定树是不是BST，两种方
法，然后说了一堆OPEN ENDED的问题
4上来也提了一个OPEN ENDED的问题，如何设计一个DISTIBUTED的系统问题，设计，测
试，很有趣，以至没有时间问CODING和算法
5第5个是老印，上来和我说他是我今天最后一个INTERVIEWER，他没什么问题问了，他
来就是回答我的问题，头一下就炸了，觉得发挥不错 |

professor, 最差的就是再重新找industry job。
真不知道何去何从，主要的concern是，coding没有特别的强，凑合也能做。做

个工作不可能带一辈子的，要考虑career path。Testing一旦干上了很难脱离testing
了（不是不行，比较难），有可能你的简历投过去别人也只考虑给你testing的职位。
IBM Research的名声还是不错的，写在简历上也有分加。哪怕只当个跳板骑驴找马的也
