传言：从明年取消pre match, Post match 取消 Scramble, 改为second match.
1. 2013 match, No pre match for FMG!!!
印度考生以及很多国外考生都已认为这将成为事实。
一直以来有很多petition要求国会通过立案：住院医生培训要招收美国人。
之前主要是加勒比海的毕业生，毕业后没有match, 意见较大。2013美国医学院扩招后的第一批学生将毕业, 各医学院教务处也有压力。迫于美国经济不景气，这个呼声日益高涨。
没有pre match, 对于很多需要visa的FMG将产生很深远的影响。
2．Post Match取消 Scramble, 改为second match.
对于FMG影响更大。

Scramble 太无序，不易控制，改革之声早已有之。Second Match大致思路是这样的。
三月中Match之后，un-filled position 统一控制，由ERAS 收回控制。大家从新申请
，program从新面试，再rank，五月中出Second Match 结果。 |

中午, 东部时间)公布外, 主要是把以前的Scramble改为现在的SOAP(Match Week
Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program). 我个人认为这也是为明年取消
Prematch所相应产生的一个新系统, 相应确保Programs能招满他们想要的人. 这个系统
相当于第二次MATCH, 我觉得比Scramble好而且更加有序.
有关SOAP的具体规定如下:
1. 提交了ROL(certified rank order list)但没有MATCH成功的申请者在3月12日中午

一个系统和操作. 至少对申请者而言, 与以前的Scramble相比，SOAP增强了:
1. 可操作性. 因为是Online进行, 申请者一个人操作就行了, 不象以前，还需要朋友
同学的帮忙一起打电话, 发传真等.
2. 可预期性．在周一中午就知道了List of Unfilled Positions, NRMP给了明确的
Rounds和Offer时间.

list. Preliminary programs are better to be ranked before advanced ones. If
you are matched into an advanced position without preliminary ones, do not
panic...Try scramble first. If the scramble does not work, contact with the
advanced program which matches you ASAP. Usually, PD/PC are very helpful.
There are 3 possibilities in such case:
(1) PD refuses to do anything for you and you are actually unmatched this
