额，希望有至少一个senior。要有一定的data mining, machine learning和
statistical modeling的背景，Shell和Perl/Python coding，至少精通一门
programming language吧。SQL比较熟，较好的data manipulation和data integration
的经验。了解big data和distributed computing。
公司可能不愿意等太久，所以希望能尽快入职。H1-B没问题。目前投简历的绝大部分都
是阿三，希望能多几个中国人。公司环境不错，绝大部份人都比较nice，待遇也还行（
当然不能和湾区大公司比）。

data analyst是一个挺大的名称 各种data分析相关的工作都可以叫data analyst 甚至
data scientist也可称为data analyst 一般来讲 做的工作比较墨守成规 读个统计
master便可胜任
data scientist是个新兴的名称 有个scientist压着 听起来比analyst高级的多 做的
事情也复杂些 而且需要一个人有创新能力设计能力 从建立模型开始 到产品能最终被
大家所应用结束 一般需要phd的学历 |

识. 都需要很深的machine learning，没几年 ph.d 的系统 ML 训练，不是看看书就
能知道的。 很多人来面试 号称 自己懂 matrix factorization, 但也仅仅是书本 和
wiki 上的那一点知识，一问实际的问题，系统实现，具体的coding 都不知道。 也不
会招进来的。
各个公司不一样，data scientist 是1个很新的 title, 每个 data scientist 的

我觉得你是把市面上所有data scientist的技能综合了一下。实际上根据公司的定义，
他们都是有不同的focus的。并不是所有data scientist需要会这些所有的东西。 |

Open your mind, open your eye.
There are many many computer associated jobs on market its title is NOT Data
Scientist, not require a Ph.d degree,Not need SAS, Not need DBA skills.

终于说服老板把postdoc的title搞成research scientist了，2月份就准备开始办H1B，
到今天ISS告诉我PWD下来了，research scientist的prevailing wage是66K，H1B办不
了了。悲剧了。
我不甘心，仔细查了查http://www.flcdatacenter.com上的数据，其中
OES/SOC Code: 19-2012
OES/SOC Title: Physicists
level 1的prevailing wage才46K，level 2的倒是65K。难道是学校ISS搞错了？
一般research scientist到底prevailing wage多少阿？有没有懂行的哥么说说，实在
不行只好再postdoc了。 |

比Assistant Scientist低，但是昨天又说Research Associate是比Assistant
Scientist高而比Associate Scientist低，介于两者间的Title。
