这个主题是不太容易。
你这样说有一定道理。但是信中提到，scaling是在2000到3000之间。而实际的scaling
与它们相差甚远，每个年级之间的scaling也有明显差别。我没有找到为什么是这样的
任何解释。
同一个学生的前后两年的表现应该可以有比较定量的相对性比较。在非线性的scaling
情况下采用了逐年上浮的分区，基本消除了这种比较的可能性。
也许，这种scaling的基本前提假设是：差不多每个学生都在逐年进步，不需要做那种
对每个学生的相对比较。 |

对程序来说，scale up前后是不是应该没有区别，只是资源功力增加了?
现在多数的云平台运用，也没有什么scale up的问题， 只是备份一份到平台上，
开发和单个服务器或者server farm没什么差别吧？
另外，真需要有差别，也应该等到需要scale up时候在开发升级。 开始时候，
弄个简单能用就行了， 否则也不知道成不成功，
将来需不需要scale up, 开发周期和成本都太高了。

11.6寸，1080P的helix也用了大半年了。125% scale也一点问题没有。
不过我都是win8的，没遇到过字挤得慌的情况。
现在win8支持的最好的还是只有125%和200% scale，可以保证程序基本都不模糊。其他
的scale会有很多程序不支持。
win10就好多了，store里面的app原生支持scale，随便啥dpi看起来都很好。我的常用
软件都逐渐开始用store app替代了。 |

2515是0.216, windows下125% scale正好就是0.27. 你要说有极少(下面用1%作例子)的
程序即不支持scale,又不支持zoom,可以理解.如果你正好常年用那1%,那没办法, look
away. 但对大部分人来说,那1%一般不是必需,就算偶尔碰到,0.216也不是没法看. 而4K
显示器,如果24-32,点距都是0.1几,可以说那1%程序就是没法看,遇上就彻底废了.所以
为了避免tail risk,我以前在版上建议办公不要用4K.而2515/2715 125% scale在99%程
序下都比2415 100% scale有更好体验,所以我个人建议有条件还是上2K.就算scale到
125%,25601440也比19201200多2.4%的使用面积,哪个角度都不亏.零售价格也摆在那.
我眼神其实还没你好,0.27都不够,所以一般用27寸或34寸2K.U2515H顶多做个辅助屏,就
是看到大deal顺便到版上提醒下.

你说的这个scale,我是没有想过,但是在ubuntu里面scale好像不是很好,我先去办公室
里面拿两个27试试2560*1440 scale 125%,测试完之后再回来update吧. 貌似Intellj,
vim, visual studio code和sublime 要手动单独scale?
2515H同感,就是scale我也是受不了了,实在太小
所以剩下来就是2715,这个0.23 *125% 就是0.291, 这个很吸引可以考虑一下. amazon
买二手都要400出头一个,两个就是800多,已经够买3417
两个3417 vertical stack好还是2个或者4个2715效果好呢?
我目前家里在用两个 2415H 水平挨着,接lenovo P50

计数器是必须的，而且要针对高耦合数据优化。
我一直都主张能scale out，尽量scale out。遗憾的是这个计数器不能。一旦scale
out，通信开销会立刻kill掉所有性能。从另外的角度讲，多核何尝不是一种scale out
，只不过QPI bus性能高么！为啥拘泥于形式呢？
因此，我有信心这个架构不但能土共最优性能，还能提供最简单的结构和最灵活的扩展。
比如你说的尽量避免换座，或者一家人希望订四张票，如果不够四张就不订的情况，如
果还有要求座位挨着的，这些都能很容易scale out。
事实上，避免换座已经充分讨论过。实时分配座位，换座不可避免，但是能实时最优化。
我的算法在此：

这项新的试剂是以尿素、甘油及活性界面所制，造价低廉，只要将活体组织浸泡在
试剂中约两周就能透明化，若再泡回生理食盐水中，则可恢复原状。
现今用于医学造影的试剂，虽可让细胞变透明，但却会连萤光蛋白发出的讯号一并
消去，scale试剂不会影响色素与蛋白质的作用，可让光线透到深处，便于观察以萤光
标识的神经细胞或血管等较小的身体组织。这项研究报告于八月底发表于美国科学期刊
“自然︱神经科学”杂志电子版。

比如R&B虽然风格极多，但共同的特点是rhythm pattern比较predictable, 多用blues
