1. recover the shape (if the scratch is just mm lower than around, it's ok)
2. put touch-up, and if not smooth, use smooth thing to press it tight
don't put touch-up too high above around. and protect surrounding area.
3. wait at least 2 hrs for the paint to dry

就注册去上课了，发现价格已经改了，是$19，

现在已经不能只是开着电脑耗时间了，我试着开机，但出去了3-4个小时，回来就要求
重新log in了。而且也不能直接参加final exam，必须答对各章的所有试题才能到达
final exam，而且各章的题目之后还有一题“security question”，就是问关于前面
学习材料中的图片、录像中的内容，所以还不得不点击看看，总共也需要不少时间。不
过有个节约时间的方法，就是先到问题的一页，看完问题再点击“previous”回到前一
页寻找答案，利用IE的“编辑”菜单下“查找（在当前页）”的功能可以快速定位。如
果中途log off再回来log in，得一页页翻过之前做过的章节，不过不需要重新做题就
是。到达上次退出地方，就自动加载之前这一章的内容。

。结果不但被冰雹砸掉漆的小点点没有全部消失，车顶上还出现了一大片刮掉漆的圆圈
，惨不忍睹。
Geico的onsite adjuster非说是原来就有，是鸟粪melt into the paint，不过原来看不出，他们sand+wax了就明显了。sand是不是就是把表面漆磨掉一层的意思？
打电话给geico客服，说修理问题只能找onsite adjuster或者他的supervisor投诉，
adjuster完全站在bodyshop那边，那个supervisor据说也approve了bodyshop的
repairwork，有其他专门的部门/人可以投诉这类情况吗？ |

看了看youtube,买了一些工具：Automative Primer, Basecoat+Midcoat color (same
as my car's color), Clearcoat, Ultra Buffing system (I think it is kind of
compound), Acrylic Lacquer Thinner, Sand paper package(400, 600 and 1000).
打算买一个buffing pad for drill. 请问还需要别的工具吗？
我看youtube上有人用sand paper，有人不用。还有人用湿的sand paper.有经验的朋友
能不能说说修的顺序？

发帖数: 8461 | 10 sand锈的话选用150或者200号砂纸，sand差不多了的时候换用300-600号砂纸，尽量
sand到看不见锈，然后喷若干层primer，再喷那个rubber coat好一些。那个rubber
coat的真正作用是形成一层像rubber的东西，可以抵挡路面飞溅的石子，但是本身不具
有防锈的功能，真正防锈的东西是primer。东西应该在amazon或者ebay可以买到，
autozone应该也有类似产品。 |

如果不sand，刷清漆没有用的。如果是漆成白色的，就不用全部sand，清洁先，补洞，
然后用sandpaper把补的洞稍稍sand一下，再清洁，干了以后，上primer,最后刷漆。

If you use regular paver, you can do it on loose sand and then broom sand
into the spaces between pavers. Sometime people use cement instead, which
sound to be better but actually worse than sand. As cement will become solid
and when the ground moves, they will break.
If you want to do a brick and mortar patio, then you need to pour a 4"
concrete pad and then lay the brick and mortar on the pad. Otherwise, as
winter comes, the ground will heave and the brick and mortar will crack. Y |

on floor put 1 inch sand mortar, not sure about the name, a mixture of
cement and sand with 5:1 (not sure about the ratio, you can search it on
line), make sure the shower pan is graded
on floor put one more layer of felt paper, then PVC film(shower liner, ??)
add shower drain, this step is tricky
on floor put wires and 4 inch of sand mortar, make sure it is graded
then you can tile the shower pan |

Sand first, spray a light coat, lightly sand with very fine sand paper,
spray again. you might need several light coats to create a nice finish.
You can do it in your garage with some newspaper to cover the over spray. Do

I did it old school, i.e. sand-stain-finish. But the sanding part is really
a pain in the lungs. Beside the dust, it's also very tedious to choose the
right grits. Use a wrong one, and had to start over again.

最后一步，没法提前做提前通风。
请教这个通风一般得通风多久才能住进去？1个星期？2个星期？一个月？有什么促进排
气味的建议？怕对人尤其是baby健康影响太大。

你这个接缝是自己切的边缘吧，当时没有把边缘切薄一点？要看究竟凸出多少，
如果一点点，那就重新sand，mud，泥巴抹一尺宽。如果凸出多，只好把tape撕下，
把缝那里挖浅一点，再tape,mud,sand,mud,sand,prime,paint |

发帖数: 170 | 32 这个是个技术活，还真不是用磙子磙出来或喷壶喷出来的图案。需要用到hot mud和
sand。具体比例需要看你要的texture的大小。我也就是有一次看人家老美工作的时候
问了个大概。
简单来讲，就是把hot mud和sand按你需要的比例混合，然后用大平铲把混合好的
compound像普通抹腻子一样平抹到墙上去。由于里面混合了sand，可想而知就不可能刷
平，结果就造成了这样随机的一块一块的效果。hot mud又按干的快慢分为很多类，有
30分钟的，有1小时的等等，具体用哪种就要看经验了。等hot mud干了之后再像普通一
样刷墙面漆就可以了。 |

挖不挖都可以，我刚做完，就没有挖，主要是怕把地面的斜度给破坏了。你想象一下铁
路的地基，不就是突出地面的吗？铺砖的过程，大致都差不多，网上的资料很多，我就
不啰嗦了。不过每种做法都有些不同，有些个细节，还是可以讲究一下的，以下为个人
经验，仅供参考：
1．用什么材料做地基？大多数资料提到用类似crushed dust之类的沙混合物做地基，
我觉得还是细了点，结构受力不是太好，大雨会慢慢把地基掏空的。我最终选的是3/4
”crushed rock，最后上一薄层细沙用来找平。
2．要不要用专用的沙子做最后填缝？我看到有些老外反映用jointing sand填缝，大雨
过后，jointing sand把砖面腐蚀得跟狗啃的一样。另外将砖用jointing sand牢牢粘住
，也失去了砖方案的灵活性。我最终选的方案是用买的clay与细沙混合，用来填缝，既
环保，效果又好。
3．铺砖最后要用paver edge（通常是硬塑料的）将形状箍住，普通的landscape edge
太软，不行。
总的来讲，各行各业的人，不管头上顶的是什么证书，干得好的都是少数。通常所说的

从去年的三月份起, 我就象进入了一个恶梦中.
我马不停蹄地联系了儿童医院和学区要求做development assessment.儿童医院的
waiting list竟然要8个月. 我问有没有可能快点,得到的答复是没办法,资源不够. 学
区相比还算快.本州法律规定必须两个月做完评估.从我联系学区后,学区做了一个非常
综合的评估, 包括educational, speech, physical, occupational, psychological
assessment. 既做了对孩子直接的测试,也有去他的幼儿园观察. 家长和老师都填了一
大堆问卷. 经历过漫长而心焦的两个月,终于到了report meeting了. 我和先生坐在学

从凤凰城开车到那里，大概400英里，开了6个多小时。
周末去Tucson看2014 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show，有的展览进不去（需要注册和买
方税号证明），JOGS Tucson Gem And Jewelry Show 不让14岁以下的小孩进去看。
后来找了个跟地摊货差不多的地方逛逛，然后下午开车去新墨西哥州的Las Cruses住下
，第二天去White Sands公园玩到下午一点半（需要自己带够吃喝的，那地方没有可以
买）。
在Las Cruses小城，不能指望有什么好的中餐馆，能吃饱就够了。随便转转，找了家中
