Mitt Romney won the Republican caucus in American Samoa on Tuesday,
picking up all nine delegates.
About 70 Republicans in the U.S. territory located 2,300 miles south of
Hawaii met at Toa Bar & Grill to discuss the candidates and select delegates
for the Republican National Convention in August. At the end, the six
delegates chosen and the three superdelegates who will accompany them to the
convention all said they would support Romney.

Samoa需要有效美国签证吗？我是从夏威夷转机过去，然后再原路返回。网上的说法不
一，有的说需要automatic revalidation，有的说算domestic，打电话给Department
of state说不需要visa但是网上找不到相关文件，实在没辙了，真怕在夏威夷会被遣返
回国阿。谢谢大家了！ |

international，美国人都要用passport进出，不能用driver's licence之类的，我才
开始担心。
夏威夷是美国的一个州,American Samoa是个什么unobligated territory,和关岛也不
一样，当地人都是US nationals, not US citizens。所以很怕有个什么闪失，就回不

发帖数: 626 | 39 从前单身，一直file 1040NR-EZ。现在有小孩了，本想通过小孩减税，经过仔细查询，
发现未居住满5年的 "F, " "J, " "M, " or "Q " 是不能通过Substantial Presence
Test来积累有效天数变为Resident Alien的，应一律按照Non resident Alien。而Non
resident是不能设置dependent来减税的。貌似版上很多人对这个理解都有问题。

1.PCC里Samoa文化村的演员，他是一个真的演员哦，几乎会说全世界的语言（当然都不
多），一开始我很疑惑为什么PCC的PR要带我们去看Samoa的表演，因为我明确说了要拍
夏威夷村，但看了他的表演后，我几乎笑死在当场，建议大家一定要首选看他的表演，
因为（请原谅我的狭隘）他太会作弄日本观光客了。
2.Pipeline beach，这里在冬天会有巨大巨大的海浪，卷起来的那种，所以叫Pipeline
，但现在不是季节，所以只有一点小小的浪花。看到右边那个开黄色沙滩车的家伙了么
，他的工作就是在浪大时在某些区域插上“禁止游泳”的牌子。
3.BOB70岁了，但依旧热爱冲浪，他一肚子故事，我希望下次有足够的时间可以在North
shore做一个他的专访。

如果在地图上将Hawaii、Newzealand和Rapa Nui三个区域相连，就连成了玻里尼西
亚三角。
中间的1000多个岛屿就是Polynesia。最著名的岛屿有斐济Fiji, 塔西地Tahiti,
萨摩亚Samoa， 汤加Tonga和玛贵斯Marquesas.
Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) 位于瓦胡岛的Laie，保留弘扬了当地polynesia
的土著文化。主要分7个村落， Samoa, Fiji, Hawaii, Tahiti, Marquesas,
Tongja and Aotearoa (New Zealand)。每个村落皆代表一种玻里尼西亚文化。
走马观花半日下来基本可以逛遍7个村，对各种文化有个囫囵吞枣的大概了解。
PCC除周日,圣诞25号和感恩节外（去之前去它主页上查好。)
每天12:30pm开门，每个村都有半小时左右的特色歌舞表演。以及
48分钟的Imax立体电影、2:30pm开始的各个村落文化风采展示的Canoe pageant，
和晚上7:30 开始的Ho |

official website about this Visa issue.
I think i heard that visiting American Samoa requires USA visa to return,
but American Samoa is one of US territories. can anyone exlain that?
Thats why we need the detailed info about Visa issue to see which particular
islands in the US need visa ?
