我只知道生物,在这里,学术圈基本上是个名利场;大家比的是名气而不是科学贡献,

我自己写文章和RO1的时候就有明显的感觉,一定要吹,不吹根本通不过,因为所有的
竞争对手都在吹。并且NIH把“忽悠”体制化:broad impact, innovation这种虚头八
脑的东西跟research strategies(科学内容)并列成为评判标准。
麻痹的broad impact这种东西难道不是别人在看到你的科研成果以后来评价的吗?现在
倒好,一开始画饼的时候就要求你王婆婆自买自夸。
还有innovation, 更特么搞笑,第一页了一定要出现transformative, disruptive这种
词汇。麻痹的,突破性进展出现的频率到底特么有多高?一个领域里五年出一个就不错
了,尼玛现在倒好,要求所有研究都往那上面靠。
这种风气下竞争出来都是些会吹牛,会跟风的salesmen。 |

didnt have it. I was waiting for a green one and when that arrived--it had
