It's a kind-of outdated study (just look at the publication date and the
model years in the investigation), when SUVs are highly subject to rolling
over.
Most of the folks here refer to ground clearance safety, where SUVs are
advantageous than minivans. Thus, SUVs are safer than minivans for small
accidents.
For bigger collisions, I think minivan should be equally safe given that
there's more room.

for static vertical load (X000 pounds), not for horizontal IMPACT when your
car hit the ramps. When your car is static in the center of the ramps, they

While 4WD and AWD may maximize traction better than 2WD, that doesn't
necessarily translate into making it a safer vehicle. Oftentimes, drivers
believe that because they can accelerate in snow just as quickly as on dry
roads, they can do the same in terms of cornering and braking. On the
contrary, 4WD and AWD do little to aid in cornering and nothing for braking
ability on wet, snowy roads. Once moving, the physics of 2WD, 4WD, and AWD
systems are pretty much the same.

from the above link, I found there are many white water rivers in Wisconsin,
usually safer than NE ones and much safer than the ones in Western state.
However the first step is very critical which is to understand the danger of
rafting or kayaking and do couple class II or III trips with the

I was very excited when China first announced the Shanghai to Beijing high-
speed line; It seemed like a great and reliable way to travel between the
two cities without having to go through all the hassles at the airport.
But after the line was launched and its speed lowered for safety reasons, I
realized that flying was still cheaper, quicker, and safer. I see why the
government needs to massively subsidize their high-speed system now.

WPA2: Broken with KRACK. What now?

On social media right now, strong rumours are spreading that the WPA2
encryption scheme has been broken in a fundamental way. What this means: the
security built into WiFi is likely ineffective, and we should not assume it
provides any security.
