何曼君老师的书里面没有详细介绍entanglement molecular weight(Me)的概念，
只是在粘度随分子量变化的图中引进了critical molecular weight(Mc)的概念，
即，eta---M^(1) when MMc.
一般而言，Mc=2-3Me.
在整个国内的高分子教学和科研中，
对于Rouse-Zimm Model和Reptation Model的介绍都太少，
当分子量低于Mc的时候，polymer melt可以用Rouse Model (Rouse)描述，
而高于Mc的时候，用Reptation Model (De Gennes, Doi, Edwards)描述。
Reptation Model得到的关于粘度在此区域的分子量依赖性为eta---M^(3),
而不是实验所得的3.4.
这种偏离目前最成功的解释是contour length fluctuations,
即分子链的末断的波动导致Reptation Model中的实际持续链长L有一修正dL.

经非常难得。
在这个前提下，说说《管锥编》的一些细节。
钱老是不是大儒，要看他的言行以及学术风格。不能轻飘飘一句话“他不以此自居”就
将之开除出大儒队伍。翻开《管锥编》，满满的儒家正能量：拿论语解道德经、拿诗书
左传解庄子。。。硬把形而上学的道家大脚塞进儒家经典的小鞋。这样的人，你说他不
是大儒，谁是？
也许对某些“真儒”来说钱老的学问有些杂偏，不够原教旨主义。但这属于儒家内部清
理门户。不影响大的归类。
众所周知，儒家在哲学三大领域形而上学、逻辑学、认知学方面全是短板。而道家在形
而上学方面非常深入。很多问题就是出于钱老试图用儒家概念来解释道家的形而上学思
想。
例如他解释《道德经》里“道之为物惟恍惟惚”。
这句话讲述形而上（道）和形而下（物）的关系。类似于柏拉图，老子认为人类穷究现
实世界（物）不能导致对宇宙大道（道）的认知。好比游戏里的角色在他们那个时空里
永远无法理解计算机程序是怎么回事。这是整个道家哲学体系的基础之一。

properties. How to link the θ state to Rouse behavior? What I thought θ is a

这个.根据记忆整理了一下,非原创.
纽约州，维蒙特州北部与加拿大的国界，乍看上去是人为划定的直线。但是把地图放大
仔细看看，会发现其中一段略微更靠北一些（见局部放大图）。这段直线中的曲线，后
面有一个有意思的历史故事。
这还要从美加1812年战争说起，美国人又称之为第二次独立战争。 第一次独立战争之
后，亲英派的殖民地居民跑到了北方，就是后来的加拿大的雏形。因此，当时美加是敌
对的关系。更多是因为美国人民想发扬“宜将剩勇追穷寇”的精神，把北边一起解放了
，发动了1812年战争。
在陆地交通还不甚发达的当时，河运是重要的交通方式。纽约-维蒙特之间的Lake
Champain, 北邻加拿大，就成为了战略要地。结果英军队乘船攻入湖内，然后沿着哈德
逊河顺流而下深入美国腹地，一把火把华盛顿烧了。
吃了亏的美国人，战后就在北侧的湖口修建了一个炮台Rouses Point， 以防止加拿大
军队再次入侵。炮台当然应该是只能修建在美国境内，但是这一带的国界是人为划定的

自五四新文化运动以来，七十年间，中文的变化极大。一方面，优秀的作家与学者
笔下的白话文愈写愈成熟，无论表情达意或是分析事理，都能运用自如。另一方面，道
地的中文，包括文言文与民间文学的白话文，和我们的关系日渐生疏，而英文的影响，
无论来自直接的学习或是间接的潜移默化，则日渐显著，因此一般人笔下的白话文，西
化的病态日渐严重。一般人从大众传媒学到的，不仅是流行的观念，还有那些观念赖以
包装的种种说法；有时，那些说法连高明之士也抗拒不了。今日的中文虽因地区不同而
互见差异，但共同的趋势都是繁琐与生硬，例如中文本来是说「因此」，现在不少人却
爱说「基于这个原因」；本来是说「问题很多」，现在不少人却爱说「有很多问题存在
」。对于这种化简为繁、以拙代巧的趋势，有心人如果不及时提出警告，我们的中文势
必越变越差，而地道中文原有的那种美德，那种简洁而又灵活的语文生态，也必将面目
全非。
中文也有生态吗？当然有。措词简洁、句式灵活、声调铿锵，这些都是中文生命的
常态。能顺着这样的生态，就能长保中文的健康。要是处处违拗这样的生态，久而久之
