博士毕业后在米帝的大公司打工近2个月，感触颇多（可能公司和学校氛围差别太大）
，分享一下，并请在公司里面的高人指点一下，言辞犀利一点没有关系。
1、 感觉大公司politics比国企还厉害，各色人种都不是省油的，对上面溜须拍马
非常露骨，而且人家英语好，文化背景接近，相比较之下观察到老中们显得木纳不合群
，混得出来的很少。
2、 原以为在公司作研发和做千老一样，整天泡实验室动手做实验，查资料、写报
告、发专利（类似发paper流程）。结果发现：研发混得好的都是大忽悠（褒义词），
极少自己动手做实验，到处leverage别人的资源，自己整天搞项目管理，做PPT；新产
品还没影子，5年后的计划、roadmap都做到炫目，具体到每个季度都有所谓
deliverable 的东西。技术细节和创新在他们的报告里只是个点缀，至于这个技术新旧
、可行与否没有人care。
3、 原以为只要idea新、好就可以发专利，结果发现：貌似每年申请的专利数目都
有计划，具体到某个部门多少都是领导说了算。造成领导喜欢你挺你，很垃圾的idea都

LD背景：赴美前国内外企工作过4年， 今年年底即将CS phd毕业（研究方向是高性能计
算相关的调度算法）。一把年纪了 本来想在学术界混吃等死，去年暑假老板临时通知
没钱，仓促间找了个A家的实习，因为参加面试太晚，当时各个popular的组都没有
opening，被HR发配到一个 做web前端的组A里写网页。因为对网页无经验更无任何兴趣
，后来拿到return offer就告知HR，不留原来的实习组(为和后面区分，这个是组A吧)
，要去也去做 cloud的产品。当时HR同意了，告知将被分到组B。当时还想着能不能找
个 research相关的职位混混，也没开始码工的面试准备，就先签了这个offer保底。
HR要求上班时间是6月，当时跟HR说这个时间 毕业有点赶，应该是summer或者 fall。
HR说先写6月，后面延期毕业再说。
之后看到师兄找工作实在不乐观，再加上各种原因，LD就想干脆还是干码工，先去 A家

如果真的在FB做new grad E3的话，极大不可能因为项目没人用就给你室友一个review
差评，除非你的室友当了烙印组的屎盆子。如果真是这样，那就是你室友bootcamp的时
候攒下的锅。。
FB一个项目的review瓜分很明确，E5及以上瓜分leadership+roadmap，E5及以下瓜分粗
活，你室友明显属于后者，而项目有没有人用明显属于前者。前者的锅不可能轻易甩给
后者。再者，fb半年review，真的这么搞，可能不止你室友一个人要走，大家都要走。
1. 项目不可能是你室友一个人写的，如果其他人review好评，你室友差评，可能是你
mgr甩锅给你室友。
2. 现在开始刷题，找工作，这个组呆不下去的，这次搞不死你，下次还是会搞你 |
