全景式展现1911-1921中国历史
在电影放映前，中国驻多伦多总领馆文化领事陈霜发表讲话，陈霜说，今年是辛亥革命100周年、中国共产党建党90周年。在这个时间节点上映这部史诗般的巨片，可以使多伦多的华人和主流观众客观的、真实的了解1911年至1921年决定中国命运关键10年的那段历史。他希望在场的观众跟随这部电影，一起穿越回到那个热血的年代，重温中国近代史上那段激情四射的岁月。
