retirement accounts when funds exceed $3 million.
By proposing the cap as part of his 2014 budget, Obama is taking aim at

accounts -- which it argues is more than enough to retire comfortably. |

今天去CVS，发现一堆Vanilla Reload Network，本想用信用卡买一张，再用500块的
American Express gift card买一张，信用卡的成功买到，gift card刷卡后，选择
gift card的选项后系统却无法通过。是不是在CVS无法用gift card（无论是VISA,
MASTERCARD, 还是AMERICAN EXPRESS)来买Vanilla Reload啊？

For 2012, the maximum you can contribute to all of your traditional and Roth
IRAs is the smaller of:
•$5,000 ($6,000 if you’re age 50 or older), or
•your taxable compensation for the year.
You may not get tax deduction if your income is too high.

刚来美国时，以J2身份在IL州，家人是J1－postdoc。4个月后我来OH州做postdoc,老
板答应给fringe benefit。这两周要办入职的orientation.
1. 要填写retirement plan election form,自己一头雾水，有两个计划可选,而不参加
federal social security system other than contributions to Medicare.这两个
plan中选一个：SERS(School employees retirement system; defined benefit plan)
,ARP(Alternative retirement plan; defined contribution plan).
自己很糊涂，几年之后或许会申请绿卡或许不会，即使搞到绿卡之后也可能会回国工
作。所以自己对retirement plan就没概念了。请高手解答。
