我申请的时候感觉只要给我offer就接受，现在真拿到了，心里却犹豫万千，放弃了
research还真有点可惜，尽管我在research方面做的不是很好。

这样直接让当前Research J-1 program到期，然后回国。
能重新签新类型的 J-1 然后用新J-1 在新的非 Research 类Program，签回美国么。
我知道 Research Visiting Scholar 结束之后，无论是否waiver,1-2年内不能再用
research visiting scholar。但是这是换个J-1类型的，规定不清楚。也不知道会不会

In our school, after 3 years, research associate title change from research
associate B to research associate C. Then the HR explain research associate
C is a permanent job they would like to sponsor green card application.

办手续的秘书的回答太让我疑惑了。
一开始，我要求Research Associate，她说这是相当于Technician的，而Assistant
Scientist以后可以升成Associate Scientist，再上去就是Faculty 。但是昨天我看到
打出的广告变成了“Research Associate”就去找她。结果她又说Research Associate
是比Assistant Scientist高而比Associate Scientist低，介于两者间的 Title。
因为第一开始说的是Permanent 的职位，但当时说的是Assistant Scientist，现在说
的是Research Associate， 我要去确认一下，现在这个还是不是Permanent的了。
另外，Research Associate中文翻译成什么比较合适（考虑到回国找位置）? |

research associate 是不是同一个category。
譬如我们学校，postdoc和research scientist不是同一个category，overhead不一样
的。。。。postdoc有benefits，可以申请H1B，但不能申绿卡。。。但是research
scientist没有benefits，不能申请H1B，可以申请绿卡，好混乱啊。。。以前我们可以
internal postdoc, external research scientist, 但是最近行不通了。。。。
如果你们学校这两个position是同一个category，那就只要找老板改title就可以 |

楼主现在一个小startup, 5个全职的，两个本科生做manufacturing的，三个phd做
research，包括老板，楼主，还有一个NSF资助的博后（NSF专门给small business
innovation research的资助，两年，NSF直接付他工资，他给我们公司干活，服从老板
指挥）。
USCIS说上面说at least 3 full time researcher. 咨询了些律师，有些说除了申请人
之外，还需要再有三个full time researcher。有些律师说，可以上。想问问各位有没

我还没有理解怎么样解释下面的描述。我所在的组大部分不是以research为目的，但是
