Postdoctoral Associate/Research Scientist positions are available in the
Department of Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology and Genomic Medicine,
MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston working on exciting translational
cancer genomic research. The candidate will be working with a
multidisciplinary team involving clinicians, biologists, bioinformaticians
and biostatisticians to study the clinical implications of cancer genomic
findings.
Salary for research scientist: Minimum $51,600; Midpoint: $64,500, Maximum:
$77,400.
The candidates must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D; a strong background in genomics
/genetics and experience working with next generation sequencing data (
mutation analysis, copy number, mutation spectrum, mutation signature,
pathway analysis etc.) Experience in computational biology and proficiency
in one or more of the following programming languages such as R, Perl,
Python, C/C++ or JAVA are desired. Qualified candidates should send a CV, a

因为涉及很多next generation sequencing的数据，会些computational的技能能更好
跟bioinformatician交流。所以是desired，不是必需的。 | s*********a
