我的理解是对于1，2，3， 你每写一个具体的specific aim 的时候都必须单独提出来
。所以你在那个12页的正文里其实是每个大段落都必须有Premise, Rigorous, and
other considerations这三个小段落。我觉得Premise其实就是以前的那个Rationale的
等价品, 而Rigorous, and other considerations差不多就是以前的那个pitfall and
alternative resolution 的代替品。这个是我的理解，不知道对不对。希望参加了今
年的review panel 的人来说说。 |

of the reviewers.
I agree with you that these are not the content that will make a proposal
fundable. But these days the payline is so low, a few points knocked off for
these guidelines could be the difference between funded vs. unfunded. |

关于这个处在分界线的分数，我是这么看的，不一定对。表面上，有些分数很close，
好像和被funded差不多。事实上，人家想不想fund你，是非常明确的yes and no。很多
就是坏在，看似很近，总觉得有希望，就试了又试，但其实永远都不会中。喜欢你，就
少挑毛病，你就上去了。不喜欢你，总能在一些琐碎的地方找出这个那个的毛病。我原
先老错误的认为，只要我resubmit能把这些毛病解决，分就过线了。但总是“差那么一
点点”。根源在，不是这些小毛病的问题，是人家根本不喜欢啊。

of now-you-hear-it and now-you-don't is very evident. it reproduces drum
sometime unnaturally, because only part of the frequency is there. now the
ar94 made me realized the natural sound of a gentle bass roll-off from a
sealed box is not something I can live without (it doesn't have to go very
deep). but I don't know if a sub can blend in easily. also, I wonder if they
will be as natural as true full range speakers. |
