electives.

central pharmacy which fills all inpatient orders.
Clinical pharmacists is reponsible for monitoring labs/drug therapies for
all of your patients and making recommendations/adjusting meds & doses

on-site是准备尽全力拿下的；不过最后还是差一点。
问题：现在人有点乱；后面的大公司QR summer intern 的机会是不是已经很小了？如果找hedge fund的话，不知道好不好找？投了好几个hedge fund，基本没回音。请问有什么hedge fund的list么？
感想：毕竟找summer intern花了很多精力；research还要补上。top journal的文章写完了，却得不到另外两个合作者的reponse；导师非常忙，一直没空看我的文章。最近又有新的idea，跑了下小程序，结果不错，导师也让我好好做，并帮我联系intern看看。但是肯定不会是bank里面QR的job了。作了挺多的准备，还有一些的基础，也不想这么就和QR无缘了，sigh~ |

你唯一能做的, 就是尝试不同的variable selection, 尝试不同的transforation.
如果你的reponse是近似normal的, 尽量把你所有的predictor都往normal上面
transform. 如果response非常skew, 你首先要把response变得近似normal了, 至少也
要比较symmetric了.
还有一点就是, 我不知道你是如何选model和评价prediction的. 如果你没有用cross-
validation的话, 最好用这个标准. 或者是用AIC做标准也一样, 理论上, AIC 是试图
minimize prediction error 的. 仅仅看 R^2 这些来试图找到predictive model 肯定
是不行的. |

cat (数目)
age (0 no response; 1 18to24;2 25to28...etc)
occupation
等等
杂志1 （0，不订购； 1 订购）
杂志2
等等
所有的数据都不是CONTINUOUS 的。 我就迷糊了

是nonresponse weighting吧。
那个unresponse probability,应该是response propensity.
如果instruction没有提到race,你算response propensity不需要加入race.
如果你只是要reponse propensity,你不需要用特别的survey procdure,就用普通的
logistic就好。
你的nonresponse weights就是1/response propensity.
我不明白的是，你这是什么意思
“这个样本的取样strata是race，就分为白人和黑人两种。一共分8次取了8个小样本，
联合起来总共有1600多个observation。
我的想法是对每一个batch做unrespond weight，因为每一次取样的时候的response可
能都会不同。”

and then extrapolate to beyond observed time point? It seems not
statistically sound.
Or you meant still use ARMA or MA to do the forecasting?

Unfornately I dont have the original dataset. SO I can refit the original

后来换成discriminant analysis SAS里运行很快 proc Discrim
由于不是normal data 打算用kNN的nonparameteic来做
但不知道如何象logistic那样做scoring
我的意思是有没有可以做成公式或者什么办法来score 而不是procedure自带的scoring
因为最后需要做成production 不能用SAS

There is no Elixir. Physican who prescribes medicine should be reponsible
for all outcomes for that medicine. if you are a resident, your attending is
the one.
