接近完美的工具，类似元器件类的东西，比如轮子，钉子等等基本元素。 然后在这上
面去建造汽车，高楼等等更有价值的东西。
就是用轮子来说事儿的话， 也是要想办法能更快的造轮子， 造质量更好的， 不同材
料的轮子， 来满足不同的需要。
而不是去钻牛角尖， 非要发明另外一种“圆”的东西做轮子。那个可能会变成是无形
的东西， 比如法论。 |

1，dealsite没啥技术含量，完全靠marketing和信息更新快。你做这个我实在看不出比
那些用模板比如worldpress做出来好在哪里，而且也锻炼不了你的技术，有这个时间不
如做点真正nb的东西，就算参与开源社区建设至少还能提高水平／让简历好看。如果我
招人，看到有人把这个写在experiece里我只会留下负印象，说明这个人不理解什么情
况下不要reinvent the wheel.
2，dealsite 很多labor intense的活是少不了的，就算你抄别人的site也得改ref
link，收集图片，这些不能完全automate。 比如dealmoon我就知道雇了很多人干这活
，你如果没这个思想准备就不应该开始。
综上，我觉得你在做deal site这条路上继续下去之前，应该多了解一下这个行业，做
网站基本上在这个过程中就算不是least important也属于非决定性因素。 |

2) automatically calculate vwap for each.
3) create reports and add proper ui to access.
also, u need a 24-hr online server.
of course it's doable. but just not want to reinvent the wheel.

刚开始职业生涯的话，眼界放宽些，提升自己能力最重要，要多做东西，多做新东西，
不要为一点点事情斤斤计较。
聪明的manager对谁重要谁不重要清楚得很，不是很容易蒙混过关的，如果manager蠢到
连这个也看不明白的话，这样的公司没有什么好留恋的。 |

然后客户要求多加几个功能，他也加完了。
演示的时候，我看了其中一个功能，说这功能不错，做得漂亮。
结果这哥们说，这功能你之前版本就写好了，
但是disable掉了，他只是enable一下。
我X。。。唉他娘的真是人老了。。。
不过这哥们就是因为这种态度，
所以在公司混了8年，基本没做成过啥成绩，但是每年妥妥的加薪。。。 |

前人经验有时候远比自己的发散性思维要重要。这点就是midwest毕业的跟美东北毕业
的区别。
我这里有两个同事的小孩就是最好的例子。一个同事就是受美国liberty那套的毒害。
结果小孩说是要读生物再上医学院。那哥们人生中光注意买卖房产了。也不注意去多认
识几个华人医生。他买卖房产是做的好。以至于现在他dc有两套豪宅。就是那种带
private drive way的。每一套都上百万的。
结局：交了4年bio本科的学费，还是top10的本科排名，现在local混个卖电脑的职业。
周围同事吃饭经常笑话：卖电脑要交快20万美元的学费吗？
另一个同事，小孩要上学了，专门去问那些cornell, upenn毕业的美国tri-state本地
人。结果事先精心规划，上了个统计，学校总体排名还没你的好。
结果人家小孩现在混4大。女生啊，周围都是外国帅哥或者国内来的高富帅。混4大的至
少外形还是有保障的。从工作到老公，都对得起爸妈的学费。
唉，我和老盖都是phd一路过来的。周围多少女生，当年来的时候多漂亮，多优秀，最

许多年前刚刚来到美国，美洲华人博物馆是我第一批拜访的博物馆之一。第一次参
观之时，正巧遇到该博物馆共同创办人陈国维教授正在给他的纽约大学生在博物馆内上
课，后来也找了机会到纽约大学拜访陈教授。
由于工作的原因，经常参观美洲华人博物馆，参加博物馆举办的各种活动。前年博
物馆乔迁之前，也曾经访问过当时的馆长，也是博物馆的共同创办人黎重旺。
美国华人博物馆，是美国华人200年移民历史的缩影。
搬迁新址更改馆名
1980年开始创建的博物馆，经过30多年的精心打造，当年的两名创业小伙子，如今
已经人到中年。为了寻找和开设新馆，当年的创建者之一黎重旺特地回到博物馆担任了
5年馆长，直到新的博物馆即将开业，才离职。
2009年6月，美洲华人博物馆乔迁至附近的中央街，并更名为美国华人博物馆。这
次乔迁主要是扩大展览场地，原来位于茂比利街的旧址，还是属于博物馆，成为该馆的
收藏和研究部。
新馆由华裔建筑师林樱女士设计。林樱曾经设计过美国首都华盛顿的越战纪念碑而
享誉建筑界。
