首先，除非是面start-up，否则大公司里都已经有了现成的
处理large-scale system的framework，不太可能要求你build
everything from scratch。所以对于大部分码工面试来说
只要知道large-scale system design的一些基本原则和
common software packages就可以了。
为了尽快上手，建议翻看以下几本书：
Big Data Glossary
Hadoop the definitive guide
HBase the definitive guide
里面具体编程和系统配置之类的章节完全可以略过不看。看完
以后能解释一些重要的原则和关键词就可以了。例如：

set中.
但是会有one-side error: 一个不在set中的元素可能被判定成在set中; 但是一个在
set中的元素绝对不会被判错.
Bloom filter的好处是要求的空间很小: 1%错误率的Bloom filter 只需要8个bit 来存
一个元素, 不管原元素多长.
不算是新数据结构, 70年代的时候就被提出了, 但是当时大家觉得没用. 90年代才被
reinvent. 现在好一点的美国学校都会在本科教这个了. |

我在FLG做quant, 本来是要签Pre-ipo 其中的一个做team lead，快签的前两天 Stitch
Fix 约我面试，第二天发了Offer,几天后我改变了主意， 签了 Stitch Fix。
Stitch Fix 的business model很新颖，也很有效。我有看过他们的收入数据，很惊人
。湾区就算是Tech 公司，三年到$300M 估值的也不多吧 （而且这是C轮的估值， 而现
在按他们的收入情况估值可以翻倍).
如果看VC， benchmark是非常selective 的VC， 投过 Twitter, Uber, Snapchat and

只是分享一下我们双职工懒人让孩子学汉字的经历。
（一）目前状态
男孩，目前4岁半，认识400个左右的汉字，能读一下简单的绘本。
主要靠的是《悟空识字》，父母只要偶尔陪他玩玩，很多时候他自己能学
，一次5-10分钟，不是每天逼迫他，他如果不愿意就不强迫。
会改为给他念念中文故事书。
今年6月开始上的是中英文双语幼儿园（之前是纯英语的幼儿园），
班里有些印度和美国小孩。学校中文老师也很负责，
她们编写了自己的中文课程，图文并茂，进度大概是一个月季度学30-40个汉字，
进度虽慢，但是记得比较牢固。另外还教一些中文诗词。
比如，圣诞的表演节目之一就是背诵《木兰辞》。
（二）第一阶段回顾
汉字教育大概算是从三岁启蒙的。当时我也做了不少网络搜索和研究，
最初使用的杜曼卡的方式：大纸片上写生活中常用的汉字，公园，滑梯，玩具之类的。
根据一些人的介绍，那些带图的字卡会让孩子看图来反应出答案，而没有真真认识汉字。
我的经历也是如此，所以使用了无图字卡。因为汉字本来就像图画，
儿子在2到3个月的学习阶段，也认识70到80个字。
