airline reimbursement是每年都可以reimburse一次，这个适用于gift certificate，

最后一点关于年费，开卡几个月后就关卡，AMEX会退还大部分的年费，你只赚不赔
再说白金卡的其他用法

我本来也打算买double stroller，不过现在老大出门不喜欢stroller（我们刚刚买了一个坐得舒服一点的伞车），
就让老儿将就用以前的travel system。car seat本来打算再买一个马拉松，后来想想还
是买了一个regent的，放在他爹车上，现在用来临时接送daycare用。等到老二能坐马
拉松的时候，他就可以升级了。我家一辆奥德赛，一辆4runner。你家这马上就要有7口
人了，肯定是van坐得舒服，尤其是后排座位。 |

这些家长都是有交流的，甚至，我们的初中，分得hornor班（两个班，一个hornors,一
个hornors of hornors），两个班学的东西都不太一样，8年级已经把9年级的数学和科
学全学完了，regents也都考过了。。1班的学生90%都考上了特殊高中，这个只是一个
非常普通的初中，觉得比较好的一点就是根据学生的能力因材失教。。。
我们没有上私校，所以我对私校的好处没有体会，估计你们也没有上过公校，那么对公

发帖数: 1 | 49 请教大家一个关于大学里title的问题。最近得到一个UT系统学校里的offer，我是从现
在的博士后职位跳槽过去的，本打算谈research assistant professor的，但最终没拿
下。那边同意给一个叫Faculty associate的职位，根据他们官网的介绍（http://www.utsystem.edu/board-of-regents/rules/31001-faculty-appointments-and-titles， 2.2节（e）条），也算faculty系列，但是与research系列（2.2节（g）条）的是单独列出来的。所以想请教大家这个title到底有没有特别的猫腻在里面，毕竟不是很常见和大家熟悉的academic title，个别学校也有，但是定义不尽相同。另外它与research系列里的instructor有么有可比性。所以想要考虑是否适合接受这个offer，尤其是它是否可以正常promote到其它的title，比如以后tenure-track的title等。谢谢大家。 |

发帖数: 111 | 50 即便有绿卡,也是国际学生吧,毕竟没入籍.但一般学校好象都有一个表关于residency
information,有I485的receipt就可以claim local residency (如果是本州学校,外州
不详). 至于奖学金什么的,国际学生少点,但general scholarship,scholarship for
international student还是可以申请的,还有一些top scholarships像regents/merit
什么的(各地叫法可能不一样),就是financial aid好象不行. |
