种概率，控枪/禁枪观点拥有者认为应该对枪支进行严格管制，将失控范围减少到少数

八月十九一大早，818那个割草的人又来了，一般来说，他一来割草，我感觉就没有什
么好事情。折腾了一天，接近下午三点左右才都走了。而823也来了好几辆车，让我感
到又要更换控制人的架势。小孩下午5点钟回来，然后就听到楼上一阵响动，我到楼上
看，我原来的房间锁着，所以也不知道发生了什么。反正楼上到处是暗道，不知道是不
是有人又冒出来把人绑架了，对此，我也无能为力。我一般都在楼下，想必楼下监视器
密布，反而更安全些。
然后，我就带着墨镜闭目养神。我现在也不关心来我家的是谁，只要他们不怕危险，尽
管来好了。当然，我最希望的是我先生和孩子远走高飞，所以我其实最不想见到他们。

加州大学首位华裔本科学生校董程杰希（Jesse Cheng）曾经在自己的学生生涯中
无数次应付自如地面对校方为同学们争取利益，尤其在担任校董后，他被媒体称作“加
州最具影响力的学生”。
而10月20日晚，程杰希面对100多位加州大学尔湾分校的同学们做一个十分特殊的
讲话时，他却失去了平时的冷静语气，情绪有些激动，他语调中甚至透着伤感和犹豫。
但是最终他还是勇敢地宣布了他的同性恋身份。促使他“出柜”的就是上个月发生在新
泽西州罗格斯大学一个同性恋大学生被同学偷拍而后自杀的事件。
他回忆说：曾经在痛苦中挣扎的他甚至考虑过自杀。几年前当他还在高中的时候，
他曾经告诉他的好朋友们他是同性恋，但是这个坦白招致的却是朋友们的一阵毒打，他
们想将他“打直”。这之后，他再也不敢向其他人提起他的性向。

美国两位学者近日发表研究报告称“宗教治疗可改变同性恋性倾向”，但这份报告
并未引起主流学术界和媒体的很多关注，反而引发了不少质疑的声音，一些学者认为该
研究并不可信或缺乏说服力。
有关报告已发表在9月30日的英国《性与婚姻治疗杂志》（Journal of Sex &
Marital Therapy）网站上，报告标题大意是《关于试图用宗教疗法改变性倾向的纵向
研究》，报告的两位作者分别是美国伊利诺伊州惠顿学院（Wheaton College）的心理
学教授斯丹顿-琼斯（Stanton Jones）和弗吉尼亚州瑞金大学（Regent University）
的心理健康学教授马克-雅豪斯（Mark Yarhouse）。
CNN网站10月4日在题为《支持改变同性恋的研究受到挑战》的一篇健康类报道中，
指出有关研究报告的两位作者琼斯和雅豪斯都出自宗教背景的大学，其中雅豪斯所在的

billion in cuts Monday to close a widening state budget deficit that he
blamed partly on a slower-than-expected economic recovery.

有个律师朋友夫妻二人海归北京两年了，昨天去他曼哈顿的公寓帮忙整理信件和报税的
材料。
牛逼的高级公寓，doorman果然一口伦敦音，虽然都没有[er]的发音，但真的不是
Brooklyngnish.
帮朋友扫描信件文档头都晕了，朋友电话说让我用他支票order些吃的，去公寓楼里游
泳池健身房运动一下，太晚了的话就住下来。后来晚上还是没有做完，就住下了。
