说的不是上帝后悔“他造了人”这件事,而是对人的反叛离道而悲伤。

我大概正好相反。
人家的反抗期,相当于我的卖乖期。
因为是阿姐的阿妹,所以从小本能地想把父母关注阿姐的目光引向自己,唯恐被冷落。阿
姐多是正面角色,我则一面不自觉地充当着可憎的反面角色,一面却想方设法一鸣惊人,
拼命要夺人的眼。
所以我总是让父母又恨又爱,又骂又笑的孩子。
那真是一种可怕的本能:密切观察着父母跟阿姐之间的一切有形或无形的授受;细密地感
受阿姐,然后瞪大眼对照自己。

1. 会议名字叫做Developmental Biology of the Sea Urchin,每一年半在Wools Hole
的MBL开一次,至今第20届,推来有30年的历史了。名字叫做Sea Urchin Meeting,其
实参加会议的还有很多做各种海洋生物的研究者。做海胆的目前没有中国大陆的PI,台
湾的前不久有了一个,日本和欧洲的不少,主要的还是北美的。北美大多数都是Eric
Davidson和David McClay的徒子徒孙们。这两位都年过七旬,会上给David McClay搞了
个简短的70岁庆祝。David每天跑步5英里,看起来就是五十多岁的样子。他亲自做实验
,micromere transfer做得是炉火纯青。Eric年纪更大些,据说因为得病,腿脚不好,

formal model能不能证明或者证伪这些问题我比较怀疑
不过你的观点我同意。在传统的政治社会学里,关于state socialism是state vs.
society的模式,或者是所谓东欧模式,a rebellious civil society。这种模式在中国
甚至在东欧的解释力都很有限。在年轻一代做社会运动和政治社会学的人里面,有一部
分人是这种观点,而且已经有了一些不错comparative historical东西。我目前已经
finishing的东西跟这个有关系,也还是历史证据。可能下学期会跟一个做fuzzy set的
老师尝试一下是不是更systematic的方法来验证。
anyway,你提出一个问题很重要:system blaming or individual blaming,这个是可
以经验证实的,在social movements的研究里,用framing approach很容易就做到对
narrative的分析。不是一个太难的问题。

憂慮就像那緩慢的蝸牛,悄悄地爬上了牆頭。它常在不知不覺中,抺去了你心
中一切喜樂的痕跡。憂慮又像是一片黑雲,突然籠罩著上空,片刻前還艷陽高照,刹那
間已是一片烏雲密佈。
要過喜樂的生活是何其的難啊!喜樂就有如終年陰霾的巴黎冬日裡的陽光;在冬日
裡的巴黎,要能看到陽光實在難得,常常是出現一下就不見了。當你看到陽光出現,想
趕緊進屋拿張椅子出來,在屋外享受片刻溫煦的陽光,沒想到椅子還在手上,烏雲就又
籠罩了過來,馬上又是陰霾一片。
在我們的生活中,人人都在尋找喜樂,但是喜樂卻因著人們忙碌和焦躁的生活腳步
,而難覓其踪。
