约续增条约》的修订而制定的。条例的修订允许美国暂停入境移民，国会很快就执行了

法案拒所有华人劳工于美国之外十年。其1884年修正案更强化了允许先前到来的入境移
民离开美国和回国的规定，同时阐明，该法适用于一切华人而无论他们的国籍为何。18
92年，该法案由《基瑞法案》（en:Geary Act ）延长十年，到1902年更被取消了时限。

Did you get there during middle of winter?
Again, the location of Dawan itself is not the problem. It's the road that
lead to it from inland area that's the problem. Remember, railroad into
Tibet end at Lahsa. From there, supplies have to be carried on trucks over
hundreds kilometers of mountain road that's difficult to pass even in good
weather. In winter, it's treacherous. That supply line is in no way, shape
or form capable of supplying a medium intensity war over a long period of

It's not the problem with length of railroad track, it's the number of
people that needs to take the train at this time of year.
Unless you can magically increase transportation capacity by 4-5 fold during
Chinese new year traveling season, you won't see this problem solved. |
