***Typically it is the fan motor***, or associated moving parts.
Sometimes it is the housing vibrating from the spinning of the blower fan.

A good (and quiet) place we usually go is Tom Ham's Lighthouse, excellent
view at night (and probably lunch as well). That place could be 40 per
person.
Azul in downtown La Jolla is quiet (in my impression). Haven't been to that
