发帖数: 2128 | 6 上个礼拜DIY失败，由于那个短的3/8" ratchet不给力，根本搞不动那个drain bolt。
这个礼拜我的torque ratchet到了，拧到40lbs/feet，稍微用力一下，就松了。高兴死
了。
然后立马走进autozone买了一个oil pan，$2.99（我在auto zone的parking lot diy）
。然后就是戴上一次性手套，拧那个drain bolt，ATF就流出来了，感觉很brown了，还
好没有黑。（本田的ATF本来是紫红色的）
然后坑爹的事情发生了，我搞不定fill bolt，由于没有那种一体很长的extension，根
本使不上力，而且感觉它更紧。
没法子了，只能从dip stick口送进去了。但是funnel的口太大，根本不能伸进取。去
autozone走了一圈，没有任何合适的。想起来自己上次做seafoam的时候去home depot
买了白色的管子。截了一根下来，一头用力塞到funnel那，另一头还是太大。灵机一动
，用剪刀45度剪一下，虽然还是没法100％放进去，但是这是我在当场能做的了。如果

他们换一下transmission fluid，就是drain and refill. 和他们说要马自达的原装
fluid，他们打电话给dealer要了3 quart的fluid，当时心想是dealer那里拿的fluid，
我的车型他们也知道，应该不会出错，所以并没在意。保养完去取车的时候问了一下他
们换了具体是哪个型号的fluid，然后就悲剧了。我意识到他们给我换的是6-speed的
transmission fluid，而不是5-speed 的，两种fluid差别还挺大。当时就没开车，把
车留在了店里。说今天替我flush, 然后换上正确的fluid。
我想问的是这样对车会有影响吗？该车是2010款，现在有大概60K mile。 我听说
transmission flush 对老车不是特别好。但是好像除了flush 也没有别的办法能把混
进去的油弄出来了。
另外一个是他们说要flush之后和dealer要了8 quart的油，但我一算不对呀。我的车要

车烧机油厉害，有的5000迈烧1 quart，那就还好了，反正能撑到下次换机油，但是有
的5000迈要烧3-4个quart，那就全烧没了。
而且VW dealer对这种5000迈烧3-4 quart的情况也拒绝修理。听起来挺烦人的啊。
不知道大家怎么看？这玩意买前怎么能搞清楚这辆车烧机油厉害不厉害？Carfax能查出
前任车主因为烧机油去dealer那里检测的记录吗？

发帖数: 1523 | 25 除非你有换一个新的transmission的钱，否则别自己flush，因为万一操作失误会把
transmission搞坏。如果非得做找dealer。
有个alternative的办法，效果和flush差不多，就是花钱稍微多点，但是绝对简单，任
何人都可以diy。
买可以换三次的量的fluid，假如你的车需要5 quart，那就买15 quart，一般1 quart
在5刀左右。
另外如果你的fluid filter是在底部的话，也是需要换的，买个新的，一般10多刀到20
多刀不等。但是很多日韩的车的transmission fluid filter是设计在侧面的，这种
filter是不需要换的。
然后就是简单的三步。
1.把plug打开，一般都在driver side，用jack把passenger side顶起来，让车倾斜。
然后让它自己流个1个小时左右。然后把plug拧上，加上新的fluid，流出来多少就加进
去多少。可以适量调整，自己看标尺。
2.车开着跑一个星期后，再重复上面的过程换一次。
3.车开着再跑一个星期后，在重复一次过程1.

候换过那些gasket）。我当时没管。1月底油灯亮了，换过一次油，加了5 quart；过了
10天左右，油灯又开始闪了，之后大约每3天要加2 cup机油进去，也就是说每个月要补
5 quart进去。
打算年底或明年年初卖掉。那我还有必要去修这个么？我记得去年的dealer（波士顿的
）报价500左右的。我要是每个月补5 quart，到年底大约花费200块。

“I've owned this car since new. For the first 50K miles or so the car
needed a quart every 2000-2500 miles starting from mile 0. Recently the gap
closed to 1000 miles (for last three quarts I've added). Not sure when it
changed from 2500 to 1000 miles, I only started keeping records of the gap
when it seemed like I was adding oil more often.

Platinum （Platinum 是壳牌马甲 Pennzoil 的中高端全合成油），原价24刀一桶

Floor jack 如果只是撑轿车也不用买那么贵的，我的floor jack是在 Harbor Freight
搞的 1.5 Ton，原价七八十，Harbor Freight 经常搞活动，我是去年$60买的。我的
车子1.7吨，1.5Ton 的jack完全没有问题，因为你支车子的时候只是把车子翘起来，不
是把整个车子举起来。jack stand 两个足够对付转轮胎了，当然能有四个会更方便。
我的 dealer 提供 life time powertrain warranty，前提是service一直在他家做。

以前丰田要求3k mile一换机油，所以不明显
现在变5k和1万了，尤其那些1万mile一换的，很多非常明显，所以。。。。
很好笑的是，自从丰田把换油里程变成5k和1万以后，manual也更新了，加入了烧油标准
并且特别注明烧机油属于常态，不用维修。
丰田不召回，也不提供服务
车主要是自己发现了，找到dealer，才会检查一下，必须达到一定标准才给修，甚至换
发动机
我记得好像有个5k mile的camry车主说是要换发动机还来这问是否能lemon
车主要是没注意，没人管

一个1 QUART 大小的有拉链的透明袋子就行.
给AA的AGENT 打完电话,她说是一个人只能带不超过3OZ 的液体.

for family of 4, I would suggest 4 quart for cooking stew meat. 6 quart is a
little bit large for cooking stew, except you cook soup and stock very
often, I don't think 6 quart is suitable.
涂层do you mean enamel coating?
it could chip if you accidentally bump on something, but it never happened
on mime.
If the coating chip, the most likely result is the pot would get rust on
that certain spot.

我 prefer One year cliff with remaining 75% vested monthly (in 36 monthes)
老板 prefer
One year cliff with remaining 75% vested quartly (in 12 quarts)
老板理由是每个月 vesting 的话会有太多的 accounting burden
我当然觉的 monthly 更有利，不然的如果 在一个quart前
离开公司（主动或者被动）就白白损失两个月的 stock。

觉的8，9，10月的会一起发卡。如果current 3，4个月，并且uscis 决定使用quartly
spillover 的话，应该会在4月左右拿卡。关键是uscis 如何用spillover, 是 quartly
还是以年终形式的。希望是quartly. |
