Just for that debate on PhD and job
I said PhD is useless for those who are not interested with research. One guy
is too proud of himself, so I cursed him as a loser to make him angry. I
didn't notice that he is the BF of job hunting board, so he banned me! What a
shame!!! haha :))) No quarrel lah! :P
I sent thousands of mails to that guy to curse him. haha :P

take a tour around all other boards and compare, if you are not biased
to the extent that you are really blind to truth, you'll find that
BNU board is really a peaceful place in comparison. BNUers "quarrel" with
you because you are being disrespectful to us, to our university, and
to education. don't do that -- we are all mirrors of how other people treat
us: if you are friendly, most people will be friendly to you.

It is an Internet forum focusing on development of education and research at
ZJU and other places in the world in general, as well as observation of
nowadays China society with a particular attention paid to rights of
citizens, the rule of law (versus rule by one party) and freedom of speech. Democracy in China is definitely one of the key issue.

i heard a story when having dinner yesterday with a guy fermilab.
it was about our zju alumni, t.d. lee
he was giving a talk at fermilab in 87 on some of his work around that time
and there was a postdoc from fermilab was working on the same project
but with a different approach
and they sort of got into a quarrel during t.d's talk.
and t.d became very angry and said" young man, i think u just wana show off."

我对维特根斯坦一直不太感冒。不过昨天看了个8g，太特么神／牛了。。。看完很虚幻。
书作者，就像这里被评价的有点夸张。
不过一战、二战之间的奥匈帝国／奥地利確是很有趣。
顺便再隆重推荐一下，我成年以后唯一记得有印象的长篇小说，奥地利作者robert
musil 的《the man without quantities》（中译：没有个性的人）。
ps，维特根斯坦弟弟paul wittengenstein的故事里，我偶像Prokofiev还友情出演了。

为什么没有我偶像maurice ravel呢？呃，以前就听说paul介个左手刚擎家，当时还想
ludwig witetngenstein他弟很牛阿，看prokofiev的评价，凡事都抗不住有钱。。。
