看了前面几个帖子，感觉大家工作压力都很重，天天都有朝不保夕的感觉。这里大部分
人已经是白领，拿着美国前20%的收入，为什么会这样呢？美国几十年前，一家一个人
工作，就能有房有车，每年度假，养一堆小孩。现在两个人工作，还觉得紧巴巴。
看看美国中产收入，富人收入和通胀的比较。看看美国的基尼指数，一切尽在不言中。

政府每个月往银行系统注入巨资，但是银行不肯贷出去。因为穷人拿不出抵押物，也没
有还贷能力，银行就把这些钱继续投入股市造泡泡。贷款的都是富人，象甲骨文老总就
拿股票抵押贷了好几十个亿。这样通胀损失的政府的钱，自己股票是硬通货保值。

But the TV is saying that a 5.8 earthquake just hit Washington, D.C.
UPDATE: The quake has been upgraded to a 6.0.
The quake was centered in Charlottesville. The White House has been

it before). The quotes for quake insurance are similar. AAA has lower price
for the house insurance plus the umbrella insurance. Also, since we bought
umbrella insurance, we are required to buy a higher auto insurance. That
makes a big difference. Altogether our insurance is about 900 cheaper (per
year, 600 from auto and 300 from home+umbrella) after we switched from

100 were injured and 2 were killed in the shake. It was the largest quake
in Baja California and Southern California area since 1992, USGS officials
said.
Details of how the people died have been reported. One person ran from his
residence into the street and some driving hit and killed the man during the
terrible earthquake. Another person died in a building collapse in Mexicali

If you’ve been feeling more shaking this year, it’s not your imagination.
The number of quakes greater than magnitude 4.0 in Southern California and
Baja California has increased significantly in 2010. There have been 70 such
quakes so far this year, the most of any year in the last decade. And it’s
only April.
There were 30 in 2009 and 29 in 2008. Seismologists said they are studying
the uptick but cannot fully explain it.

Earth quake insurance itself is over $100.
If the community has swimming pool, and you have kids, that's better deal
than single family house.

35sec re-appear) appear, and even when the important weapon re-appear (15sec
). Because you control the game if you control these important resources.

画面比Console好，不过要想全开1080p高帧数的话显卡不便宜，显卡就和console差不
多了。
battlenet, steam，还有游戏各自自带的网络工具，方便灵活。
WOW，starcraft II，Quake/Unreal，严肃的FPS和RTS基本上都是PC独占吧。
Halo，War of Gear带自动瞄准，自动涨血的和Quake/Unreal/CS/Team Fortress不能算
一类游戏了。
Xbox手柄完全支持，Guitar hero Guitar完全支持，再加上逻辑的方向盘。
我主要用Logitech G15+G9，不知道console上能不能用。

通过YouTube传到全世界。也使得游戏竞技性更高。以前打quake那个年代，如果你发现
一个新打法，可以很有效的杀敌，你真的可以一直杀下去。
现在YouTube一上，马上就会有应对的玩法了。比如说吧，以前很少有人能用坦克打飞
机，因为游戏刚出，大家都掌握不好坦克炮弹的轨迹，很难判断落点。开飞机真的可以
随便虐人。现在能用坦克打飞机的人太太太多了，妈的，飞机基本都不敢低速俯冲。我
开飞机被坦克打下来过好多次。
所以玩家的技术一直都在提高，你要想一买游戏就全地图杀人那根本没戏。再加上现在
的fps太复杂了，比以前quake时代复杂太多。载具，炸药，弹道都越来约复杂。有的时
候莫名其妙的就死了，其实是游戏里很多比较tricky的东西你不明白。
比如说你说的hit box做的不好。有可能是你根本没明白。首先，bf4子弹是有bullet
travel time的, 每把枪都不一样。就是说你开枪了，要等子弹飞到敌人身了，才算一

About gameplay, a lot of older gamers simply do not know how game mechanism
has evolved. Here is what I posted in another thread about Battlefield 4
gameplay. The other guy was complaining about gameplay, yet he does not
know anything at all!

发帖数: 3283 | 42 这个确实是个问题。id其实并不是那么热心做游戏（这公司到现在也没几个人，能外包
的活全部外包），特别是carmack在doom3之后基本上就是在放羊的状态，一心造火箭开
发手机游戏。恰好这个阶段是从pc游戏到主机的过渡时期，id只是重新复刻了几个老游
戏，完全错过了一段黄金时期。
id的老引擎卖得挺好，搞出了half life等一堆好东西，而且carmack会在新游戏发布后
准时将老引擎开源，因此社区也会开发一些id引擎得游戏。当年Unreal和Quake 2的竞
争还是蛮激烈的，后来id宣布Quake 3将成为第一个基于多人游戏的FPS，结果却被UT赶
在前面一周发布了，id郁闷不已；几个月后出了Q3TA，但反响很一般。UT后来乘胜追击
，连续出了2003，2004，3。
再往后的故事就比较恶心了。2004年id做了doom3，还有2011年的rage，除此之外所有
游戏都是第三方开发；Epic再出了unreal 2和ut3之后，一心一意卖起了引擎，仿佛
Unreal这个游戏从来都没有出现过。。。。 |
