2. Bonds is a great hitter. His eye-hand coordination has nothing
to do with steroids. He is great no matter he is juiced or not.
3. Most of the power hitters in the league are probably on steroids.
Stats of guys like Bonds, Sosa, Thome, Giambi Mcguire and Pujols
are not real. All that I can say is AROD has the least suspicion.

send leadoff hitter Pujols to first base.
2. Formal Brave and formal Cardinal lefty Kent Merker called in to
face Jimmy Edmonds, who was 0 for something career against him.
3. Jimmy and Tony had a brief meeting while the pitching change
was made.
4. First pitch, Jimmy bunted! Ball rolling along the 3rd base line
and went out in the end after a loooooong 10 seconds. Everybody

3b这个位置基本都是右手THROW，如果用左手因为要有个向1B转身的动作要耽误
时间。3B出身的大棒少也是这个左/右手的原因，一般用右手扔球的挥棒也用右
手，而由于PITCHER大多是右投因此右打出身的大棒远比左打少。CHAVEZ这样的
3B，投球用右手，击球用左手不多见。当初PUJOLS刚起家时能打3B，YAHOO才给
他#10左右的排名，而真正会玩FANTASY的MANAGER们不会等到第10顺位，不出前
5名就把他PICK走了。3B上捞这么个特大棒占老鼻子优势了。
好的RF在胳膊上既要有力量又要有准头，这样在外野就是RUNNING GAME STOPPER。
球打到右野如果是ICHIRO那样的守在那里对方就相当忌惮，换个JAQCUE JONES对
方上垒后肯定一路狂EXTENDING。 |

HOF in the past 20 years. average one per year.
if we consider a field player's career lasts average 15 years plus 5 year
waiting period, there should be about 20 players from this generation who
would be voted into HOF. But since we won't consider players with less than
5-yr MLB experience (like Pujols), only 15 active and recent retired everyday
players would be voted into HOF by baseball writers. (I hope everyone |

believe it? I do not. Maybe Pujols does though. hehe
Phillies will score runs, a lot of runs. They simply have the best offense
in NL, imo.
Hamels was a rookie last year. The only problem with Hamels was his
durability. He is pretty much injury prone. If he can pitch 210 inning next
year, he will be in top 3 in CY voting. But this is a big if.

For postseason, we all know that if a team gets hot or the opponents
suddenly melt down, it could mean a championship. So forget about that.
For regular season games, statistics? Let's talk about statistics :-)
Offense-wise, this team's gonna score runs, a lot of runs.
There is Pujols, THE best offensive player in the big league, batting 3rd.
There is Eckstein, the little guy who will find ways to get on base.

For the sake of argument, let me say a little bit more.
No doubt Pujols is great. He is this generation's Bonds, period. But somehow
I feel like he's got a Bondish ego these days, which might not be a very
good thing.
Jim Edmonds at age 36 is in decline. Check out his OPS+ you will notice the
sharp drop. Chances are he will not recover.
There is no reason not to love Eckstein. But he is only an average leadoff
hitter. IMO, leadoff hitter is not judged by grit. It is judge |
