the stock market performance. In fact, small fluctuation in the OIL price
caused huge volatility in the stock market.
But I believe now OIL might have become the handkerchief of the magician in
the market (those big players) to create panic or elation. I believe the
negative correlation of OIL price with stock market might not be a long term
thing. In fact, their relation is not so direct.

是要把stop price 设定高于市价 然后等到市价下跌才会买到比较好的价格
ie: stop price = 100, trailing amount = 10
市价跌到70 (stop = 80), 再涨回80时, 会以80买进
这样可以减少成本 但是缺点是只能把stop price设定比市价高
想请问有没有以下这种 trailing order
市价是 100, 我希望当市价低于 80的时候，以类似 trailing stop 的逻辑买进
例如 trailing amount = 5,
当市价=80, 我的stop price=85, 市价一路下跌到最低点70, stop=75, 然后反弹回75
的时候买进。
请问有办法下这种单吗? 谢谢
PS: IB 有 trailing limit if touched, 但不符合以上需求 |

比如
bid=6.05, ask=6.06, last price=6.06, last size=10 (这单正常)
bid=6.05, ask=6.06, last price=6.03, last size=1000 (不正常)
bid=6.05, ask=6.06, last price=6.06, last size=5 (这单正常)
请问这个是由于大单成交的reporting不及时早成的吗？ |

Oracle Investment Research is going full out contrarian on Molycorp (NYSE:
MCP).
Although shares are in a death spiral, Oracle is upgrading shares from Buy
to Strong Buy with a price target of $50.00.

home price index是要看seasonal adjusted的。在大多数年景，春天到初夏房子交易
价都看涨，因为很多父母是为了在8月学年开始前买房入住上新学区；而秋天冬天房事
交易很淡，因为很多人不喜欢在holiday期间看房卖房，尤其是seller，所以home
price raw score下半年下跌很正常。
shiller seasonal adjusted home price(Chicago area) 一月份的home price实际上
是连涨了三个月，value基本和去年夏天7月份持平，如果history holds,今年夏天

8-Passenger Sienna LE FWD V6 with $1000 option, I got the best price is $
29100 (MSRP: about $31000, Invoice: about $28500). But $1000 option is not
what I want. They are already installed.
With leather seated, $2000 more.
I did not compare the price, just did negotiation with one dealer.
Anyone has a good suggestion or better price? Please recommend a dealer in
south bay.

便宜30来找match还好说，把这种人胃口养大了。 过几个星期他又发现别人 便宜 $50
，还得 match。
对买家不能百依百顺， 坚决不price match。
觉得哪家便宜就去哪家买，你要退货期退货完全没问题。 |

并不是做price match的客人都不好惹，不要一棒子打死。很多网站都给做，LD买衣服
什么的，有别家更便宜，给bloomingdales打了个电话，只是说明情况，还没说price
match，人家主动就退了多出来的钱。
另外，就算你说的price match的客人都不好惹，你也别忘了，还有个词叫“店大欺客
”。这种经历相信大家都或多或少的都有过。

anyway, in general , in gerenal , valuation is more strcutured and developed
, techinique skills are strongly demanded more in valuation role than
pricing role.
pricing on the other side could be a combo of art and sceince, what you are
charge for may not be your true cost. and there are a lot of external
influence.
certain settings, pricing could be very techique by using some of the most
advanced or creative way of pricing exisiting product.

偶不是传统financial economics出身，不过出于兴趣也看了不少asset pricing的书，感
觉是难找一本完美的。
Duffie的Dynamic Asset Pricing Theory，内容全面，数学功夫深刻，但是很少关注细节
，比如把CAPM给人当习题做。看得数学倒是眼花缭乱，但是太缺economic sense.
Huang Chifu的Foundations for financial economics,也算经典，但是结构很糟糕，而
且内容还是80年代的水平。
Copeland的Financial Theory and Corporate Policy，前半部讲asset pricing，结构比
Huang好，但内容同Huang一样老。
能推荐一本内容比较新 |

行存个1年期的$10,000拿到的利率和你在三年前加州某个花旗分行存个5年期的$50,000
拿到的利率会有很大不同。
我的问题是，这个利率是怎么确定的，换句话说，存款是怎么定价的啊（deposit
pricing）。
我的理解，在大银行里，这个存款利率是由Funds Transfer Pricing这个模型来决定的
。这个利率会受很多因素影响，包括federal funds rate, etc. 但我想知道，具体是
这么来定价的，希望有知道的同学帮忙科普一下，给个链接，书名，模型名称，或者
key words，或者至少给讲讲是银行的什么部门在作这个事情。
