485上填写。我几年前在高速上在没有超车的情况下在左道行驶被警察拦了下来，以没
有在右道行驶为理由开了张100多美金的罚单，当时也没多想就在网上交了罚款，现在
罚单都找不到了。律师说这样的罚单也必须交代，而且是否有过犯罪违规行为和是否曾
经plead guity这两个问题都要填yes，因为交罚金就是plead guity。我感觉这两问题
回答yes显得很不好，像个罪犯似的，不过也只能按律师说的办了，希望不要影响
到申请。 |

如果没有这个条件，就乖乖上庭 plead guilty，法官会从轻处理的，

就判点数减半，罚款也减半（不知道现在还是不是减半？），不会留下任何记录。
其实超速是最容易的ticket了，就是出点儿钱而已（不过如果在work zone超速，最好
就找律师），其他failed to yield之类的，就难办得多。

2.以前没拿过罚单的话可以选择request court hearing，自己plead guilty and
request court supervision。看当天碰到的judge心情。Lake county来说警察不到的
几率很小，就算真没到你要求dismiss ticket，judge也会让人打电话把警察叫来出庭
。不知道你在哪个county。但选择上庭的话，各种法庭费用也会需要加上。需要你自己
权衡一下。
这点小事儿不至于请律师。
3.最便宜的就是只交罚款增加points，等同plead guilty但拒绝接受教育。 |

上周在95上看到路肩停了警车和另一辆车，看到时离得比较近了，当时天黑，就只放慢
速度，没有换到里道远离警车。
后来发现警车一直跟在我后面，直到下了95，我停车在路边看地图时，警车开始闪灯。
我礼貌解释我没有来得及换道，但警察似乎已经打定主意开罚单, $181.
罚单给了两个选择：1.交钱认罚，2. plead not guilty 出庭。
个人觉得有点冤枉，想争取一下。但我人在南部，无法出庭。有没有人plead not
guilty 但是通过书面陈述呢？

guilty,那罚款会远远高于$111, it may be up to $1000 or put in jail. I was

points.
You still have to pay the fine though.
If you want to plead not guilty, you might have a chance of winning if the

guilty，然后加200多刀免点，我不肯；等了大半个下午见到法官后，给免了parking的
那张ticket，第二张不免点，我那时候忘了问法官能不能first time courtesy，因为
我住得远，我就plead guilty了，住得近的话，你可以plead not guilty，然后第二次
上庭去跟警察对质。

我先打电话去法院要求plead not guilty，叫法院安排时间上庭，后来收到的传票是7
月上庭（和罚单一定不同的）。
那天上庭之前先见prosecutor，我说我来是plead not guilty，他说如果你交罚款，可
以当时就消掉4点。我当时犯傻跟他说不接受，结果等了4个小时才等到法官叫我的名字
，没容
我解释就打发我到外面填表，到了外面又被告知今天警察来不了，回去等通知。结果又
约了9月中，正好那天我不在NJ，打电话还给我不给改，说已经约了警察了。
结果只好认罚了，这帮人～
所以你可以试一试我的方法，我在route 46中的招。 |
