发帖数: 5637 | 3 给大家再介绍一个登山的地方。（台湾人翻译hike为健行，感觉更为贴切一些。）这个
周末去Santa Rosa
Plateau去走了走。感觉还不错。
我最喜欢那里Vernal Pool的trail。Vernal Pool就是雨水积的小水潭，一般到了夏天
就都蒸发了。三年前去是可以走到水边，看到里面有许多小蝌蚪。但去年那条小桥被冲
坏了，就不能走到水边。过了vernal pool后，会看到lupine，california poppy。不
是满山遍野那种，但也别有情趣。我非常喜欢路上的高高的绿草，和那风吹草浪的感觉。草浪中还远近点缀着挺拔的橡树。愿意多走的人，可以在多走1mile左右，下过一条比较陡的坡路就可以去看一个小土屋（adobe）。小土屋1点就关门了，所以我们没去。不过这条路没有什么树荫，有些朋友反映比较
晒。
我们去这条trail之前，去跟了visitor center 10点钟的tour。那条路各样生态环境多
一点。如果要跟免费的tour的话，最好先打电话预约。

间有段也是这样。
这次又开始减肥，觉得想法有变化。尤其是看了个大洋妞就是跑步减肥，多少磅的。她
的理念是不要 MOTIVATION要 DETERMINATION。
如果是这样，那 PLATEAU 都不是事儿，闷头跑，闷头算卡路里，是不是就行了？身体
的 PLATEAU 不过又是安慰自己的另一个谎言？ |

寻花，失败，看到的花还不如高速边。。。
因为懒得开3小时去沙漠，这个是最近地一个花点，看到标记上有CHOCOLATE LILY，就
过去了。
visiting center有专门地野花TRIAL, 还标了看CHOCOLATE LILY和POPPY的路线。
走了半天，CHOCOLATE LILY是一朵也没看见，POPPY有那么一片，还不如高速边密集。
倒是有很多很多密集地黑色毛毛虫，在泥地上快速地爬动。
一个池塘，据说只因为今年雨水多，才能有幸一见。一堆人坐那里看水蛇。
回家路上，看到两辆警车拦下一车，在那里拔枪对峙。 |

because I switched my exercise routine from jogging to aerobic dance and
pilates. You might want to change your exercise, or binge for 1 or 2 days
to move your body out of the "starvation/fat storage" mode, just my
suggestions. good luck!

，绝大部分人的身体条件都能踢，一般水平的比赛，只要努力就能踢不错，但要踢到很
高水平，天赋和努力就都需要了。
你可能看不上的奥数比赛，冯导给报告的时候说过，认真努力搞奥数的孩子，最后都会
hit plateau, 能不能hit自己的plateau是努力，自己的plateau在哪里，就是天分了。
所以奥数在AMCn阶段，拼的是努力，绝大部分孩子通过努力都能取得不错的成绩，但这
些成绩看不出真实的数学能力。从AIME开始就开始拼天分层层淘汰了，一批一批的孩子
hit plateau退出竞争。当然，只有天分，不够努力的，也一样会被淘汰。进了MOP以后
，就又开始拼努力了，因为天分不够的连比赛资格
都没有。常常听金牌选手说，自己不比别人聪明，主要靠的是努力，说得一点不错，但
那些“别人”是进入同一竞技层次的选手，肯定不是AIME就hit plateau无法前进的“
别人”。所以很少很少的看重奥数成绩的地方（比如花街挖矿），没人在乎AMCn是不是

上面这段，读来读去，就是天份论。就是说你要是没天份，就别费劲了。。别看你AMC

关键是，这个天份的定义还循环论证了。。AIME好的，那就是有天份。人家说我天资一
般，主要还是努力。。你非说甭逗了，你就是天份好。天份不好走不到你这一步！！

偶已经想开了，plateau 就plateau 吧，偶坚持正常运动就好。塑身效果好像不错，今
天穿了贴身的薄线连衣裙，配长靴，和围巾，同事们都说身材好，好看。。居然有老美
夸我thin，不用减肥。虽是老外的审美比较粗壮，偶还是借以安慰额自己一哈哈，嘻嘻

curves是比较现代的用来发表的东西，你为什么要转化？
就这个图来说，B很可能是negative allosteric modulator，因为competition curve
达到的plateau跟你用的agonist有关，说明B不是competitive binding。如果B是
competitive binding，理论上当B达到足够的浓度应该会完全compete掉agonists从而
最后的plateau完全是B的效果，如同A一样，agonist-independent，现在B的
competition curves plateau是agonist-dependent，说明B是non-competitive
binding。
当然，证明一个compound是allosteric ligand是复杂的，一个实验不够，往往需要多
个实验去从各个方面证明。就你贴的这个结果，很多问题，首先agonists应该不是

on the Law of the Sea， 从1958年开始谈判，到1982年谈判完成，前后折腾了25年时
间。谈判完成后，正式批准生效遵守的国家有60个，中国于1996年批准承认并遵守这一
破公约。目前这个公约有到目前有152个国家缔约，但很多与海洋无关，只是签约赚便
宜而已。

这事得从《联合国海洋法公约》说起。联合国海洋公约，United Nations Convention
on the Law of the Sea， 从1958年开始谈判，到1982年谈判完成，前后折腾了25年时
间。谈判完成后，正式批准生效遵守的国家有60个，中国于1996年批准承认并遵守这一
破公约。目前这个公约有到目前有152个国家缔约，但很多与海洋无关，只是签约赚便
宜而已。

the fact that in 2012 they agreed with India that the location of the tri-
junction would be settled in conjunction with all parties concerned. i.e.
India, Bhutan and China. It was also agreed that the status quo would be

misperception of Chinese intentions.
An alternative narration of events leading to the military standoff suggests
that the skirmish might have been blown out of proportion and was
completely unnecessary. And even though eventually the standoff was resolved

我儿子今年刚满九岁，不久前查出长短腿 （Leg Length Discrepancy， or LLD)。照X
光确认 是由左右 腿骨长短不一造成的。大腿和小腿骨加起来左腿比右腿短4公分（儿
子现在身高130厘米左右）。我们非常自责也很着急，4厘米对于一个130身高的小朋友
来说已经非常厉害了，我们现在才发现。详细X光 诊断见下。
我们现在正在跟骨科专家预约中，据家庭医生讲，不是有威胁生命的病症，通常要等很
长时间才能见到专家。并且专家在见到病患之前也不解答任何问题。由于还要等很长时

1． 冰球运动/比赛
儿子现在打冰球，前一段时间由于赛季结束，比赛比较频繁，连续三周每个周末都要打
