medical grade silicone 材料的，只能用 water a based lubricant，不能用
silicone based lubricant。。。因为从 USAPhO 的角度看，把 silicone based
lubricant 用在 medical grade silicone 材料的 toy 上，是属于自己溶解自己的行
为。
而 medical grade ABS plastic 材料的，water based lubricant 和 silicone based
lubricant 都可以用。
而 oil based lubricant 是两个都不行。
当然 medical grade silicone 材料的 toy 的好处，是在达西定律粘滞系数上，比
medical grade ABS plastic 有一定优势。

it's quite easy to id if the car is using electronic throttle control (ETC).
open the hood, locate the throttle (you should be able to find a black
plastic tube leading to the engine block, the throttle is located at the end
of the plastic tube), if you see a metal cable (note: not wire) coming out
of the throttle and goes all the way to the position of your gas pedal, then
the car doesn't have ETC, otherwise, it does.

Accord 4-cyl, outback 2.5i, legacy 3.5 R.
整体说来， CRV 感觉最差，感觉就像sedan，缺动力，又吵，加速慢，内饰差，外形也
不好看。
Pilot 是个EX-L,动力相对crv好多了，静多了，maneuverability不错，内饰也比CRV好。
Accord 4cyl就是一个sedan, nothing exciting, nothing unbearable,比CRV感觉
要好。
Equinox 4-cyl,动力也不太足，内饰比较一般，all in plastic, I mean not
premium plastic, cargo space was not as spacious as its exterior
suggests but had roomier legroom than CRV. Driving experience felt

opinions for your reference--
if you want AWD, you can only get it in Sienna, or crossover SUVs (Chevy
Traverse has a much more solid build).
For FWD minivan,
a) value - Sienna > Odyssey
For similar configuration, sienna is less expensive than odyssey. For
example, you can get a basic rear-view camera for Sienna LE. But for Odyssey
, you need to buy EX-L for a build-in rear-view camera.

that better protect the car from rust from salt and stuff. If it's that
thing, you can either find a way to secure it yourself or just remove the
rest 3 bolts and take it off, it doesn't matter that much.
Of course, replace it is always an option. Also, I assumed the plastic cover
is broke near one of the bult. If it is not and you are just loosing a bolt
somehow, you can just buy another one and put it on. |

made by a plastic ball or something that can flow on gas. As the level of

发帖数: 73 | 50 来自主题: Automobile版 - 换油换闸记 车子是04年sonata v6,60000迈,开了两年到72000迈从来没有出过问题.之前dealer检查
的时候说前车闸有问题,要换roter和pads,要350刀,再加上杂七杂八,换各种fluid,还有
timing belt (60000迈的时候就该换了),一共要1500刀.这么多够我回家一趟了,于是想
想,自己试着做吧.
之前也从没有自己换过油,也该换了,就也学习学习吧,寒假也还有些时间.
于是上网搜youtube,找资料,买Haynes manuel(NAPA 16刀),学习了一下,发现也不是那
么难.之后买了简单的几件工具(1/2" wrench bar, sockets set, brake piston tool)
normal wrenches就用实验室的了, floor jack and jack stand (2.25 ton, $50 in
sears). 买了机油,filter,Rotor and pads ($120 in NAPA).
过程还是有点曲折的:换油找oil plug很简单,把油放了.可之后拧filter的时候很吃力.
