我补充一句
关于排名
还是要看方向和学派，比如mit是被chomsky的理论掌控的
谁想做OT,基本不大可能
但是也有的学校比较推崇OT
再比如，OSU 的phonology基本是mary beckman派别的，也就是 遵循ToBI的体系。
其实美国的phonetics并不是很强，相反英国的phonetics是主导的，
美国主导的是phonology, 但是好像英国人不怎么买phonology的帐
再比如ucla的phonetics应该是比较functional的，
我是比较赞成functional的角度，比如发声学,physiological process来了解phonetics.
说的不对的地方望多多纠正 |

发帖数: 533 | 11 这种情况太常见了！语言的再现比再认又上了一个等级，所以会认不一定会写，会听不
一定会说。在computer上写是另外一回事儿，因为有拼写提示，会省事儿很多。而且长
篇大论的东西，重要是看结构和逻辑，结构好了大家就觉得写得好 - 但是口语发音不
同，一定要精确，不精确听起来就是另外一个词！
我觉得lz的这种情况主要可以在两个方面提高：1）学习phonetics; 2) 熟记英文单词
的拼写以精确确定音节。不知道lz的情况，但是我在国内开始学英语时是不学
phonetics的，英文单词怎么发音全靠死记硬背，在陌生的单词/专业词汇越来越多的情
况下怎能不闹笑话？举个例子，有一次讲大课，我反复把 microbe (micro-robe)这个
词发成（micro-ro-bi）,引来下边学生面面相觑，来听课的同事也专门跑来纠正我这个
词的发音。回家和我女儿讲这件事，她说这个叫"bossy e", 她们小学三年级学的。这
时候我意识到不懂phonetics是一个巨大的缺陷，才开始慢慢留意的。另外一个记住单
词拼写的问题，再举个例子：昨天我想和女儿说一个单词porcelain, 只记得前面是

识点都旁征博引，也有自己的观点，但是有几个常用的词发音很怪，每听到一处我心脏
都漏一拍。我之前说过，主要原因是大陆之前的英文教学从来没有phonetics. 前段时
间我弟弟让我帮小侄子选个靠谱的英文辅导班，我告诉他一定要选教phonetics的，别
说还真找到了。看来现在国内也在变了。

拼音文字符号除了代表phonetics, 还能代表什么意义呢？其语义是口语语境赋予的，
而不是文字本身。
汉字相反，文言所谓文在言之前。这和语音系统文字是截然不同的。把汉字象形部分抽
取，如简体所做，等于把汉字的一个重要表达维度葬送了，这已经和拼音文字没有区别了。这种简化和历史上的
简化不可同日而语。你如果能放下偏见，比较一下以前的汉字自然进化和共产党这种断裂突变，你会发现比维基

English) 的免费、开放源码项目。PIE 是一款用辨音符号（类似汉语拼音声调记号的
小记号）给英语单词注音的注音方案，并配有一个 Chrome 浏览器扩展程序 PIE
Transformer，能向你浏览的英文网页自动加注这种基于 PIE 方案的小记号，清楚表达
英文发音（目前支持美国英语口音）。
这个项目有三个用处：
一、英语非母语者可以用它在浏览英文网页的同时，学会正宗英语发音！
