其实费城的球市真的就算是不错的了，在全美国。。。eagles自然是不用说了，
phillies的上座率也是很不错的，halladay到phillies之后就曾经感慨过，哇，这帮人
(他说他的队友)真的是被spoiled。。。
再说战绩。。。确实不能跟波士顿比，但是谁能跟波士顿比呢？跟他们一比所有的球迷
几乎都可以直接气死了。。。：)所以我多年的逻辑就是我坚决不跟他们比任何体育的
东西 :) 其实我觉得有了phillies 08那个冠军，再加上eagles曾经有很长的一段战绩

来philly的飞机。广播里说philly刚下过雨，8x degree F，
顿叫不妙。可惜回头也不及了，可怜我还穿着长衣长裤皮鞋。
其他都没有带。在philly下了飞机，热浪滚滚。马上去租车来
开。在熟悉的95上，看着熟悉的路牌，心情极为舒畅。毕竟是
我的故乡啊。在加州的头3个月，我这个在国内早就有了驾照
，在美国也开了3年车的老鸟，在高速上却是胆战心惊。领教
了加州人民的舍身忘死，学会了不打灯换lane,从车厢driver
side扔可乐罐出passenger side的window后（我没做过，虽然
学会了这一潇洒的方式），我终于加入了加州驾车疯子的行列
。相比之下，我故乡的人民是如此的淳朴。所有的车都规矩的

?? Anyway I had a good experience at Philly. On my test day, half of testers
are international: 2 chinese, 3 indian, 1 parkistan. The lunch was
delicious, much better than what I expected. I guess I was the only one who
ate two full plates of tasty pasta on that day. So you can tell I m not a

烧焦的肉渣,炭火勉强支撑到烤完等, 肉的选择面窄
我感觉,如果是男的,要吃好吃饱的话,去Philly buffet,虽然贵近一半,那个$23.99(?)
左右,加小费近30刀,但吃完后生活幸福感超强,去过两次,不后悔
味道两家都不错,里面布局Philly buffet强15%, kim's bbq 有免费的ice cream,
waitress is kinda cute. |

房子距离Ridley Park/Prospect Park station (SEPTA的Wilmington/Newark Line) 0
.5mile（步行13-15分钟）。乘火车至上述地点也在15-20分钟左右。开车到费城机场大
概10-15分钟。最适合在费城,Wilmington, DE 周边工作和学习，不想住在城里但又不
想在路上花很多时间的人们。
Prefer female 因为你要和和另一位中国女孩share bathroom. 房租为每月$500+

托TBS的福，看到了Millwood的最后三个outting,晚上又看了重播，
今天就来谈谈感想。
Millwood是我比较熟悉的投手，以前看Braves的比赛就比较多，去年和
今年他又在我的fantasy队里效力。以前他排在Maddux, Glavine和
Smoltz后面，今年转到Phillies担任头号先发。许多人预测他不一定
适应新球场，新球队和No.1 SP的角色，今年前几场球他的发挥有好有坏，
不过这场球面对NL排名第一的Giants,他的表现只能用一个词形容--
brilliant!!!
大概说下比赛进程，开始不太顺利，leadoff walk了一个，不过慢慢他
就找回了感觉，第一二局有点shakey，一个界外球差一点就是homerun
了，好在裁判的strike zone比较大，他的high strike |

pressive, especially in the 7th inning. Phillies almost batted around at the
top of 7th, and Lee had no control to start the bottom. Threw 7 straight ba
lls I think. His ability to settle down with a fast runner on base is impres
sive.
This trade still needs to be judged long term. But it was a good start for L
ee, and for the Phillies. Dodgers and Phillies are clearly the two best team
s in NL. |

a team with WS asperation.
Pedro just gave Phillies an easy excuse to remove Moyer. If you replace Moye
r with Drabek, that is one story. With Pedro, it is another.
BTW, I honestly think at this stage Pedro is a better option. And M's should
explore every possibility to acquire Moyer from Phillies with Phillies payi
ng the remaining of his salary. |

Angels play small ball. The hitters get contact and high batting avergage.
For strikeout pitcher who doesn't locate very well on game day, this is
a problem. But Phillies are different. Homerun accounts for most of their
runs. Power pitcher can get away with a lot of mistakes.
You can pretty much compare this Phillies team with Tampa. Check out what
AJ's number was again the Rays this year. :) |

hitter,我一直不是完全明白（除了擅长steal）。
cano这样的阳极肯定不会放走的。阳极往下要shed salary，年轻好使的肯定不会走。
ws的压力还是很大的，而且cano基本上有golden glove caliber defense。
说句philly扇子不爱听的话，philly的先发有点被高估了。lee第一场阳极明显很不熟
悉他的球路，第二次面对它虽然只有4个run,但是有好些solid hits right at
defenders，阳极打手们显然没有被fool。 |

That is unheard of. I do not see how that can happen.
This Phillies bullpen is not great. But it is capable of
posting a 4.0 ERA through the season. That is probably good
enough.
The problem really is the hitting. Phillies lineup sucks. |

which means free agents), a WAR is worth between 4 and 5 million dollars. If
we just look at WAR, Utley left a few dollars on the table.

发帖数: 1458 | 50 季前就不看好，但是觉得在这么弱的赛区里还是能打进季后赛，结果就不说了。前面好
几场比赛特种队都掉链子，送对手几个touchdown，后面又接二连三的伤人，跑卫，外
接手，好在rivers独立支撑着球队，但是毕竟margin of error留得太少，以至追不上
chiefs了。
这赛季属于低开低走，中间好像要翻身但又没翻过来，让人郁闷得很。下赛季turner继
续执教，希望matthews能够爆发，rivers继续保持状态，争取进季后赛吧。
