緬懷美軍官林恩殉職 金門立碑

一九五四年「九三炮戰」時，美軍顧問團顧問林恩（Frank W. Lynn）中校在金
門水頭殉職，金防部在歷史現場立碑紀念，昨由陸軍司令李翔宙上將主持揭幕儀式，彰
顯中美共同捍衛民主自由的歷史意義。
一九五四年「九三炮戰」，中共福建軍區以一百多門火炮密集炮擊金門，半月內
計八七六七發，落彈遍及全島。林恩中校與孟登道（Alfred Medendorp）中校在水頭殉
職，此役也間接催化《中美共同防禦條約》的簽訂。
一九九二年八月，國防部應美國國民兵協會建議，在水頭碼頭興建「孟登道中校

能让我不离位的，除了Patton就这个了。好在除了开头intense的对话，后面没有拍成
