标 题: Parking Ticket 上 plate number写错了

上星期 家附近扫街，没看到通知，吃了张Parking Ticket
今天本来想在网上把这种罚单给付了，结果发现条子把parking ticket上的plate
number写错了。。。。。。不知道可不可以把这张罚单给赖掉？？？
上网按照我车的plate number, driver license number, or VIN number查罚单记录，
都没有发现这张Parking ticket. |

grove工作，于是想搬到downtown 和downers grove中间，发现oak park是个好选择。
请住在附近的同学们推荐绿线或蓝线附近的apartment，一室一厅，最好能步行到地铁
线。谢谢。
update:
看了下面同学的回复，也考古了一下，发现大家对oak park褒贬不一，很多人说要住在downtown
oakpark 和lake street附近才安全。也到网上看了一下crime map，发现这里crime真的不少。
不知道住在这里的同学能不能谈谈个人经验？绿线上真的有很多抢劫吗？做过几次绿线，发现车上确实
不少看着不太安全的黑人，因为都是白天，没觉得有太大问题。不知傍晚会怎样？
我目前的情况是要开车到metra，找停车位，坐metra到OTC，然后下车再转绿线或bus到达目的地，从
家里出发到目的地需要两个小时左右，觉得太折腾了。想住到oak park地铁站附近可以坐绿线直达，这
样省了不少时间。老公也可以从oak park往西开车，一般也不会堵车。不知道大家有... 阅读全帖 |

可能性还是不小的。 我住了4年了，还算幸运，经常晚上9点后坐绿线回oak park, 11
：30pm从图书馆走路到FFC,
确实看到了很多crime, 好几次很险，但都没有伤到自己。
不过住oak park 好处还不少， 本人在美国住过很多地方( including NYC, SFC,
Colorado ， Manhattan , Suburb )， 其实 oak park 是我觉得最合适立命养家的。 |

非常近。
white pines forest的hiking还不错。
要在很浅的地方开车过去也挺好玩的。
lowden state park就有那个"blackhawl'雕塑。
castle rock 比较坑爹。。只有一个石头几个台阶爬上去。。 |

Wilmette
oak park的房子，尤其是oak park downtown的房子反而没有怎么涨，
在oak park 沿着lake street那片怎么样，
downtown location, 绿线和metra到chicago。

three times, it took about 45 minutes for the first car to come and it was
full. It have to wait for a second shuttle which took another 20 minutes.
Furthermore, it took me another 20 minutes to exit the parking lot doing
the paper work. Both the driver and parking attendant were very rude. It
is not worth to save a dollar or two. |

guest parking上线1小时，但经常有人超时，因为是gated community，所以也没有
parking enforcement来查。不知道这群小黑是不是在那等着举报parking来拿奖励的。
。。实在想不出那群人在那能有什么事干。。

周六天气晴朗，早晨6点钟就陆陆续续有人来钓鱼了，与平日比起来人多多了。俱乐部的渔友来了十好几位，收获都不错，从新手的几条到老手的百条以上。其中有一位女孩子，平生第一次钓鱼，第一杆就上了一条白鲈，非常开心。实际上，组织活动，最大的支持者和受益者是新手。
这次渔汛要延续到六月份，还要组织几次活动。

park 附近，像Cortona at Forest Park， Dorchester on Forest Park， Lofts at
the Highlands， 和Aventura at Forest Park。 房子看着还行，不知道这里安不安全
。 还是最好住在clayton那边，看那边apartment好像很少的样子，大家有没有推荐呀

7月24 从DC出发，向西到Salt Lake City左右，（或者其它终点也可）
主要想玩的景点：（可增可减）

Rocky Mountain National Park
Devils Tower National Monumnet
Grand Canyon NP
主要就是想去NP看风景，走trail

national park system里面还有数不胜数的national historial park， national
monument什么的，成千上万吧，但是这些并不是national park
不过这个定义很多老美都搞不清楚
PS:
paterson great fall非常烂。。。路过的话可以去看看，如果是开车好几个小时，建
议就不要去了。。。 |
