Socrates. Not in a suit, Euthyphro; impeachment is the word which the

Soc. Certainly not.

In my last post, I shared why I no longer follow John Piper and "Desiring

to)。

“Reason is the Devil’s greatest whore; by nature and manner of being
she is a noxious whore; she is a prostitute, the Devil’s appointed whore;
whore eaten by scab and leprosy who ought to be trodden under foot and
destroyed, she and her wisdom… Throw dung in her face to make her ugly. She
is and she ought to be drowned in baptism… She would deserve, the wretch,
to be banished to the filthiest place in the house, to the closets.”

http://www.legaldaily.com.cn/index/content/2011-03/30/content_2

You think slavery is right and ought to be extended; we think it is wrong
and ought to be restricted.

A French “Spot the Saint” themed poster for “Borgia: Faith and Fear”
assigning Cesare the attributes: archbishop’s robes, scythe, dagger, bloody

can’t argue.

Justice delayed, justice
denied。
Justice is neither to be denied nor delayed(正义不得拒绝也不能延迟
Justice ought to be free, because nothing is more
iniquitous than venal justice; full, since justice ought not be halt; and
speedy, because delayed is a kind of denied(正义应是无偿的,因为没有比花钱

Liu Xiaobo and the West's naive beliefs about freedom in China
Since the 1989 Tiananmen massacre, the West has naively thought that
economic prosperity would inevitably lead to democracy in China. The
case of Liu Xiaobo, who just won the Nobel Peace Prize, shows it hasn't.
Human rights are the prerequisite for the 'fraternity between nations.'

Liu Xiaobo and Illusions About China
By FANG LIZHI
Published: October 11, 2010
PHOENIX, ARIZONA — I heartily applaud the Nobel Committee for awarding its
Peace Prize to the imprisoned Liu Xiaobo for his long and nonviolent
struggle for human rights in China. In doing so, the committee has
challenged the West to re-examine a dangerous notion that has become
prevalent since the 1989 Tiananmen massacre: that economic development will
inevitably lead to democracy in China.
Increasingly, throughout t...
