两三年前，毛车看了US Junior Open 后说没有什么厉害的新人。我当时就说应该去看
一看Alan。他说他刚好错过了Alan。那一年他拿了U17 冠军，后来又拿了U19冠军，这
几年在东部成绩都不错，Mid Atlantic，Connecticut Open，North Carolina Open 都
拿过冠军。Perez过去两年都是Boston Open男单冠军，今年再拿就可以把奖杯抱回家了
，结果1/16赛就栽在Alan手里，而且输得还不少。
我们俱乐部像Alan这样的Junior还有好几个（没他那么强，但平常训练也有赢他的时候
）。说到这些Junior，顺便讲一个这次BostonOpen与他们有关的一个小故事。
话说我儿子每年都从西部飞过来打Boston Open，其实主要是利用这个机会见见家人，
会会朋友。他这次没有双打搭档，于是就填了一个Request。比赛前几天主办这告诉他
，给他配了一个乌干达第二名（非洲Top12名）。乌干达有电视采访，他是雄心勃勃地
要来Boston 闯一下名号。我当时还对我儿子说，你不要拖了人家的后腿。结果，他周

队的水平. 这属于BOSTON OPEN 和国内的直接对抗.
李永波羽毛球学校的男单进了一个四强, 半决赛对 PEREZ, 基本没得一打. 女的比
较厉害, 拿了女单冠亚军. 半决赛里面, cheng wen 对 rong bo, rong bo 也是基本没
有什么抵抗. 以我的感觉, 这个 cheng wen 打 zhang beiwen 也问题不打.
不过 2011 的 BOSTON OPEN 可能是历史上最差的一界. 那年男单四强, 在今年没一
个能进八强.
看历史, BOSTON OPEN 的男单冠军, 除了 2011, 2012 的PEREZ, 基本上都是职业出
身.
HK LEE 在美国公开赛上(?)和陶非克打过. 陶当时已经是半退役了, 完全没的一打.
鲍春来来的话, 四强绝对不是问题. 就象早年 吴赤兵, 吴俊明, 哈利姆 刚参加BOSTON
OPEN 的时候都是风云一时.

其实除了 PGA champion 其它的都各有特色。
The Open has history, although links course doesn't look as good.
The Masters has hype, tradition, and hype... besides a beautiful course.
US Open needs toughness, which Lefty obviously didn't have last year.
PGA Champ 大杂烩, nothing to say...
The Open 对美国人来说没法算 best，毕竟他们不习惯这样的course，
虽然牛人诸如tiger, watson, jack也战绩很好，但偶然性还是很大的。
感觉上近几年 PGA 和 british open 会有 surprise,
- curtic, micheel, daly, toms, love iii, and maybe duval.

我看很多别的州只是conceal才需要license，open不需要。
按照这个新闻里面说的，德州的open还需要license，但是对于license的申请和审批的
要求跟chl一样，所以我觉得应该是允许持有chl的人自动获得open carry的许可，或者
说，chl同时也充当open carry license，这样比较合理。
单独申请open的license貌似不太合理。 |

谁说了。对pro来讲，人力量足，timing好，球速本身也快，这样现代网球就需要open。
而且也不是每种球都open。我只在正手对搞cross-court的时候用open，近身球还是
close，击球完上步。你看上次有人贴的footwork种类是很多的，没有什么先进不先进

和转腰/肩，而不特别依赖向前的weight transfer。close stance的好处是可以充分
weight transfer，缺点是腰、腿的力量甚至手腕的力量不能充分发挥。所以其实open
stance的击球力量和旋转比close stance大的多。open stance另一个好处当然就是回
位快，这也是因为其依赖外侧腿蹬地发力。还有个好处就是不用前后来回动。你可以想
象open stance就象拧弹簧/发条，先把发条上紧，击球时再把发条松开 |

首先，相比木拍，现代复合材料拍子可以产生更大的球速。这导致球员需要更快的移动
来适应球速，open stance由此开始流行。
而对于球速来讲open/close的理论极限应该都是差不多的，我更倾向于close的error
margin更大。open则需要更长时间的训练。而wiper的top spin可用来帮助提高
error margin。
我的论据一个就是wellmoon说open stance可以通过转体鞭打的动作产生足够的head
speed。央视的教程也是这是这么讲的。另外有个职业网球教程也说通过neutral
stance可以
提高consistency，现在忘记名字了，回去找出来。
总之，古代人用close并不能推出open不能产生球速。 |

stance。
但是到位早我认为更重要。到位早，回球质量就高，打下一拍需要的移动就少，从某种
程度上，弥补回位动作多这个问题。而且到位早，开始回位的时间也早啊。
说了半天，其实都是纸上谈兵。不过已经比用"open stance""closed stance"衡量对移
动的要求进步多了。
“Closed stance needs one more step to achieve from open, so it needs more
footwork"很可笑啊。为什么不把这句话里的closed和open交换一下，来证明open
stance needs more footwork呢? |

我是把semi 和 open 都归类为open stance. Run around 打inside out时虽然看似
neutral stance 因为两脚和网的角度， 但很多时候还是open stance, 因为重点是
which leg you are loading and push off from. 我的感受是open stance 可以让我
打的更稳， 但往往因为lazy footwork或时间不够导致自己变成neutral stance的打

在申请一个数据库的copyright中涉及到是否使用了open source的软件。
请问到底什么是open source的软件或语言啊？
比如想HTML这个语言，谁都能用，就是open source了吗？coldfusion和sql都是收费的
吧，是open source吗？
另外，我只是用这些语言产生数据，制作数据库，并没有发布任何code，这样应该不涉
及到open source的问题吧？？？？？？？？？？？？？

去看san jose tradezone & capitol 的一个open house. 那个town house complex
里面根本找不到停车位。就开进了路对面的一个business plaza的parking lot. 刚停
下，一个肥白男就跑过来， 满口脏话，说不许趴这里， 然后拿相机在车前后拍照。
我开出去了，停到open house 门口路上。 那个肥白男还追过来拍照。 我后面一个来
看open house 的中国couple停在那车就被拖走了。之后还有一个亚裔老头过来， 刚停
下，那个白垃圾就过来拍照， 根本不给warning. 这个plaza看起来没有什么business,
只有一家tax 公司营业。 估计他们就靠这个挣钱。
给版上的提醒一下， 去看那个地方的房子一定要小心。 |

的人很多,这个学校是牛校或者其他学校很少招这个方向. 很多学校说招多个,但最后真
正招的却没这么多,很多是因为想招的不来,剩下的又不想要. 我听说过不少1个
openning最后没招,或者2个openning招了1个的. 还见过一个好学校5个openning招两个
.当然如果不招名额作废的话,系里可能

是不是频率不匹配，因为opener是９７年的型号?哪里可以买到旧频率的remote opener?

房子open house。 楼主原来以为只有刚上市的房子才open house一下。不知道这个中
间为什么open，是因为长时间卖不出去吗？
open house是owner的要求吗？owner需不需要付给listing agent额外费用呢？ |

1. opener在天花板的固定
2. garage door最上面的panel要加固
3. 门口的photo eye的固定
4. photo eye到opener，opener到control unit的走线的美观
我换过一个，这些都是原来的opener就有的东西，所以很容易。新装的时候就直接找
contractor了，home depot，117加税 |

况啊？
另外想问，如果我也卖房，要求代理open house一次需要额外酬劳代理多少呢？
不应该是代理义务的吧，附近有个房子每周末都open house，所以我在考虑是不是要额
外收费，谢谢 |

直觉得opener 很吵很烦，尤其是主卧就在garage楼上。后来13年打算卖房之前终于坏
掉了，换了一个belt的，不到200刀，觉得终于整个世界清静了
换opener 一个人也能干的来，不过有个人在旁边帮手一下要容易很多 |
