2010年圣诞节前，收到李荫远先生的e-短信。云：“多年不通音信。钱先生辞世不觉已
十一年了，我
手边只有他指导的科学史学生早年写的传略。我在网上读到过你的两篇回忆散文，都是
关于大学刚毕
业时期的，也许你真该动笔写回忆录了，不是写你正确与否，而是可以给二、三十年后
治史学者之采
择与评论。”
这里钱先生是指钱临照。李荫远先生曾任中国科学院物理研究所副所长，1962-1965年
间，我一边在
科技大学教书，一边在李先生门下作研究。李先生现年已92岁，已洗手物理，也不参加
院士活动，转
而研究新诗，2006年有“当代新诗读本”出版。
因我忙于日常的教学和研究，“剩余劳动力”不多了，没有写回忆录的能量。加之，“

今天，我非常震惊地发现，1946年《远东国际军事法庭判决书》（International
Military Tribunal for the Far East Judgment）网上居然有英语全文，那可是1500
页的文件啊。
我从不知道，这么重要的第二次世界大战的文件，网上居然可以轻易找到！国内媒体好
像从来没有宣传过这件事。我查了国家图书馆的数据库，发现这个文件很可能没有出版
过中译本。我不知道台湾是否出过中译本，当年南京政府应该有中文版的。
我对这个事情很不理解。
这是第一手的历史原件，历史价值就不用说了，对于爱国主义教育和揭露日本军国主义
的罪行，都有巨大的价值。可是，为什么大家都不知道呢？这是公共领域的材料，没有

马英九指出，这个法庭的存在，应该是为国际争端定纷息争、避免走上冲突甚至战争。但是，这样的仲裁结果，不但没有排难解纷，反而增加了冲突的可能。「在背後操控的势力，看似赢了面子，其实却输了裡子。」
「菲律宾对中国」南海仲裁案，常设仲裁法院今天公布结果，称中国大陆在9段线范围内主张的历史权利没有法律依据，而南沙群岛的所有海上地物，均为礁岩，包括太平岛在内。

1989年10月1日前夕，上海市府举办招待酒会，庆祝PRC 建国40周年。来宾中有美
国驻上海总领事。原上海复旦大学校长谢希德，在招待酒会上主动问美国总领事“我们
要作甚麽事，才能解决方励之问题？”。大使立即将谢的举动转告我们。
我们判断:“这是邓小平发出的信号，中共想要解决问题了。” 大使也持同样看法。
谢希德的学术身份，是一位物理学教授，专长于点群空间群在固体物理中的应用。
谢的政治身份，是中共中央委员。谢是从美国回归者。八十年代，她每年至少到美国一

to the evolution to the next stage. There are a lot of study in this field.
My theory is the earliest possible opportunity is in Tang. The building up
