total spending is 7170
saving per month 7350-7170=180
Sometime, the oldest kid mows lawn for neighbors and get some extra money
back. That's it. |

use it for summer ( we just step in for mowing every two weeks). Their kids
play football, soccor, and all kinds of balls in the yard and the balls hit
the fence. They have dogs biting the fence too.
I dont mind paying 50%, but we didn't use it 50% :-( All fences on other
sides are fine (minor repairs occasionally). Just this neighbor's broke fast
. But I admit they already repaired several pieces during past year. |

2. honda >> toro > yard mchine (homedepot carries these, sorted
by price).
3. I found yard machine is good enough, although no reliability
data available now since I only used for about 6 months.
4. if your yard is very level and/or very small (seems it is)
and/or you consider mowing your lawn as an exercise, then buy
a regular one; otherwise, definitely consider the models that
self-propel. |

is the best choice, cost only a few penny of the electricity each time you
mow. There is not gas to buy (spill), not oil and filter to change each
winter, and last a long time, even if you try to cut the grass in winter, it

unless you have electric starter). It is also much quieter than the gas

because that means your backyard is too close to the fairway, which means:
- noise from course maintenance (mowing, sprinkler...)
- risk of windows being cracked by bad shots
- lack of privacy

course, or even worse, a municipal (city owned) low-rate course, it can be p
