背景：YPG > 10 yrs, us Ph.D，biology postdoc，本科毕业于国内算是top10的医学院，非英语班，
成绩不优秀，但基础还算扎实。
情况：全职工作，working load 比较轻松（相比较Ph.D 学习时而言）， LD全力支持
，无须为家务/孩子分心（做饭和摄影是仅有的两个任务）。去年九月Step1后开始，共
四个月另十天，每天复习2-6小时，考前正好寒假，3周intensive study。Step1 :
240+
如果一直高强度复习（象step1那样 40-60小时/周），CK 2-3个月应该是可以的。但
通常会有post step1 syndrome，很难保持高强度高效率。所以，觉得反正赶不上今年

2008年庄信正出版《张爱玲来信笺注》公布84封信，2012年苏伟贞出版《长镜头下的张爱玲》公布十余封信，《张爱玲给我的信件》收录135封信，其中32封首次面世。
张爱玲到美国后，从上世纪60年代起和夏志清通信。从1997年4月至2002年7月，台湾《联合文学》曾断断续续刊载过这些信件，每封信后都有夏志清的按语说明。

语言发展的趋势是从inflected发展到analytic
一个比较明显的例子是英语的比较级最高级。
比较短的词用曲折形式（变化词缀的方法） simple -> simpler
比较长的词加一个虚词more来表示 beautiful -> more beautiful
古英语只有er，est词尾变化一种表达方法。在莎士比亚时代之前的书里经常能看见
belovedest，beautifuler这种很奇怪的词。
到后来人就变懒了，用more，most的越来越多，用-er，-est词缀的越来越少。以至于
像more simple，more easy这种用法也逐渐出现了。虽然别扭但不能说完全错。这在八
百年前的英语里是不可想象的。
另外英语里本来没有将来时，进行时，完成时。I will go 和I want to go本来是差不
多的，will是一个现在时的动词，go应该变不定式，但后来人懒得变了。。I am going
，going是一个形容词，这跟I am happy在语法上没有任何区别。I have gone同理gone

发帖数: 1148 | 33 对了，想起来个事儿。我们最熟悉的北欧文学，莫过于安徒生童话。而北欧的对外殖民，在安徒生童话当中也有所反应。比如<沼泽王的女儿>涉及到埃及(另外这个故事里直接提到了丹麦海盗对英法的劫掠)，<荷马墓上的玫瑰>把地点设在小亚细亚沿海，这些也许可以看成是北欧人对于维京时代经波罗的海-黑海商道南下中东做生意的模糊记忆。对于大航海时代之后的殖民，<跳蚤和教授>的主要情节发生在非洲，<请你去问牙买加女人>可能反映了丹麦人对最后一小块儿温暖的殖民地，维尔京群岛的印象，而<老约翰妮讲的故事>则体现"搭车殖民"时代，海外丹麦人的艰辛。
除了丹麦以外，其他北欧民族的近代文化当中也随处可以找到维京时代的影子，比如格里格的<彼尔 金特>(严格地说，故事是易卜生整理创作的，格里格将其编成组曲。提起挪威文化，恐怕除了易卜生就是格里格了)当中的主人公游历中东北非，就可以看成是对维京-拜占庭时代的回忆，当然这也不妨认为是"搭车殖民"时代北欧人在海外漂泊的扭曲体现。
除了北欧以外，"搭车殖民"在中东欧也很普遍，艺术作品当中最能反映这段历史的恐怕要属捷克人德沃夏克的<第九交响乐>，有人认为，此曲算得上是美国的准国歌。

中国好像自古没有这两个传统，第一很早很早就废除了奴隶制，第二被抓的都是屁民为主，能要回来的赎金往往还不如养俘虏的馒头值钱，当然杀了了事。中国要是有奴隶制，估计屠城的现象会少很多。

从16世纪到20世纪初期，凡是对东方有一点了解的，基本都是对中国观感不错。
但是在50年代以后，也就是中共上台，西方历史著作对中国人整体的评价急转直下了。
