做芯片都有一定次品，成品率就是yield，以前single core CPU如果有defect就只能扔
掉，现在ryzen每个die有2个CCX，每个CCX有4个core，就算有defect, 只要有一对core
是好的就可以留着，4个2 core die可以拼成一个低端的8 core EPYC，卖$400，99.9%
yield是惊人的高，就说几乎没废品，不仅成本大大降低，产量也相应变高。
Intel那边是搞monolithic die，yield低很多。Intel现在应该不会轻易挑起价格战了

几点建议：
1。 倡议中说，要让西方人“在互动的过程中了解中国文化和中国人的思想”。当然，
这个说法只能是一种理想化的最终目标。因为即使是在中国生长一辈子的中国人，或者
是汉学专家，大概也没几个人敢说自己完全了解中国文化，所以个人觉得作为一个
cultural festival，对我们自己应该怎样作来说，这个目标可能太笼统了一点。(当然
，对外宣传这个活动时，只说我们是为了让大家“了解中国文化”就很好了，冠冕堂皇
而且不显得目的性太强。)
关于这一次的具体目的，我想到两个问题，可能有所帮助brainstorming：
我们想要重点推销的，是中国文化中的哪些特征？
我们想要改变西方对中国的哪些偏见？
这里所指的，只是这一次活动，不必面面俱到，其他的方面可以下次再来。
2。我个人的一点不成熟想法，关于上面这两个问题的：
偏见：China is monolithic。所以他们可以十分简单化地说：中国怎么怎么样，中国
人怎么怎么样。13亿中国人在他们眼里都一样。

库斯卡city tour的那个团价格很好，没法抵挡诱惑今天继续跟团去圣谷。路线是从库斯
科出发，经过皮萨科（Pisac），乌鲁班巴（Urubamba），鸥燕台（Ollantaytambo）和
钦切罗（Chinchero），返回皮萨科。由于鸥燕台是前往马丘比丘火车线的一个站点，很
多人选择在鸥燕台那里脱团，住一夜，次日前往马丘比丘，或者当晚前往马丘比丘的大
本营热水镇住宿。
圣谷（Sacred valley）又叫乌鲁班巴谷（Urubamba Valley），是从库斯科通往马丘
比丘的安第斯山脉中的一个山谷，因流经山谷的乌鲁班巴河（圣河）而得名。这是印加
王国的中心地带，所以留下的遗迹也颇为可观。皮萨科和鸥燕台的遗址都是不可错过的
景点，跟马丘比丘相比，据说也是各有千秋。乌鲁班巴附近的盐田和Moray遗址很有特色

The main reason we build this safe room is from an incident few years ago.
Long story short, our family was robbed at gun point.

upper可以分离出来方便安装管子。Mega Arm的monolithic就是完整一块了，管子需要

水了，这时候过滤器材就是最重要的储备。
过滤水最廉价可靠实用的方案之一就是用两个水桶加过滤器叠放组成过滤系统。方案举
例如下：
1. homedepot买两个5-gallon food-grade bucket + lid ($10)，如果你已经用这种
桶存吃的那你已经有无数个了，随手拿来就可以用。
2. 网上购买可装水桶的过滤器，比如说这个就不错，$21.25/each

3. 附件，在污水桶里装个过滤网，在净水桶里装个水龙头。上面那个网站有卖
filter + sock + spigot的套装，$27.50就全搞定了
这种过滤器的好处是陶瓷filter可以打开清洁，寿命几乎无限长，只需要换活性炭，
ebay上买一大包activated carbon屯着就可以了，很便宜。
总的来说，二十多刀的一套过滤器材其实是很便宜的，所以应该多屯几套filter kit，
到时候不但自己生存可靠，还可以帮助别人。 |

FNARs (although the original design came directly from Winchester SXAR
and Browning BAR hunting rifle) was made to put salt on M1A's wounds:

for hunting, the weight is an issue. .308 semi-autos can be much lighter.
For the same design in a different package, Browning BAR ShortTrac Stalker
comes in 6 lbs 10oz. while FNAR (the tactical version) comes in 9 and 10 lbs
empty gun, and 11 lbs for FNAR match.
You DON'T want to hump around a 12 lbs rifle on a hunting trip

I want only one rail on the receiver for optics and magpul MOE handguard---
no rails, but all attachment points. That is extremely efficient.
To this day I still don't understand the point of having a monolithic full
length quad-rail aluminum handguard with nothing but rubber rail cover. that
's like carrying a brick on your AR. |
