Army paid $$$$$ for a 30cal AR that will blow gas on shooter's face when go
with suppressor, high price tag doesn't have anything to do with the product
's performence.
I think if any R700 came out with this fancy chassis, 1.5k is the highest
price I'll pay for it, well, unless it is a .338LM, then that'll be a
different story.

im not sure which chassis seldom you are talking about, but 1k cannot make
anything remotely close to this Remington. this Remington stick simply costs more to make.
if you are talking about M110, i am wondering if you have ever shot one?
after shot all SASS rifles, i do not think anyone else is making a better
semi-auto sniper rifle than KAC at this point. if you find a M110 under $5k,
i will get it in a heart beat and it worth every damn penny.

chassis and exterior to reduce the cost and improve strength. Unfortunately,
in our REAL world, this is not the case, only a few super cars and race

more holes and make the whole setup a little bit fancier than FORSST and
XLR (doubtful) can cost 2k? What are these guys thinking?!
M110 will never hit $5000, that baby is has a $$$$$ price tag, if it can not
hit a watermelon anytime it opens fire over 2km away using full-auto mode,
I think that price is totally bull-shit.

this remington chassis is much more expensive to produce than those two
samples you have. it took remington 4 years of r&d to develop this platform as well. those rail space looks fancy to you, but they are necessity for a lot people who use AN/PVS, PEQ, and PAS on their rifle.
everything comes with a value. if you do not need it, it does not mean it should be worthless. for my friend, it worth $13k because he wants to be the first one to have it, and i will be okie for a $5k tag. for the army, this platform does worth $3k to them. but 1500??? it is just way off, and it sounds bitter...
i do not know where you get the idea from, but army pays about $3k on the M110 rifle, and civilian pays about $6k from last limited run.

used in ground transportation area. Talking about bicycle, $$$ 7075 frame is
expensive only when compared to 6061 (yes XLR chassis is using this
material), yet it is still poor man's material compared to $$$$ carbon fiber
ones (and you think they're cheap!). The biggest problems of this alloy is
that it cannot be welded, which limited its use in many field, the machining
of 7075 is not a big issue. If somebody came to say they have a monolithic
chassis machined out from a single titanium alloy billet, then 5k or even
7k is acceptable, that's what we called "hard to machine, like pain in the
ass".
So what should a 7075-T6 Chassis cost? See this

Street price way under $1500, if drilling some holes, add a rail and a
buttspike can make anything less than $1500 to hit 5k level, I'd guess these
parts are gold engraved.
In fact it seems nobody know what exact kind of 'aerospace grade alloy'

Rem's chassis, compared by price.
On this chassis, Rem is just trying to rip off their customer using '
military' halo, asking 5k for something that should be sold under 2k. As
