北京——中国去年的新出生婴儿数降至近60年来的最低水平，使一场正在逼近的人口危
机加剧。这场危机将重塑世界上这个人口最多的国家，并威胁它的经济活力。
根据国家统计局的数据，2019年中国有约1460万婴儿出生。这比前一年下降了近4%，是
中国官方公布的自1961年以来最低出生人数。1961年是一场大饥荒的最后一年，饿死了
数百万人。那年只有1180万婴儿出生。
中国的出生人数已经连续三年下降。这一数字曾在2016年略有上升，那是在政府结束了
独生子女政策、允许一对夫妇生两个孩子之后，官员们希望政策的改变能推动新生儿数
