类似的观点，也都写过构成世界的风火土水四元素方面的东西。炼金术呢，基础思想就
是四元素的转换和纯净化。西方有一个很有名的组织叫蔷薇十字会(The Rose Cross or
The Rosicrucian Order)，研究神秘科学，其中主要的一个目标就是追求贤者之石。
偶曾经还从哪搞到过一个蔷薇十字会的兄弟留下的手稿，记录他研究出来的贤者之石的
制造方法．．．不过从没实验过。
其实，如同道家炼的外丹，这个贤者之石的萃炼是一样的道理。据说道家的外丹就是依
据内丹的修行原理所炼出来的，因为有了内丹为先，能依内丹成仙，所以才可以有以外
物取材，成就外丹的方法。
比如《钟吕传道集》的论丹药一章吕洞宾和钟离权是这么说的：

My comment: This is a wonderful story. I recommend it without quoting from
it. It is strange that parents in China don't buy toys for their children.
Taiwan was poor (before I left in mid-1980s) but parents there did. It is

诺斯底主义（Gnosticism），出现于一世纪末二世纪初，希腊文字义是「知识」，这字
的意思，说明了它的特性，他是一个哲学系统，建基在希腊哲学之上，是彻底的二元论
，他们强调物质是恶的，灵魂是善的，灵界与物界处在永恒的对抗之中。正因此，最伟
