的时候也有很多公司Merger& Acquisition，也很容易导致丢工作。而且裁员来的时候
率先lay off H1B，理所当然，连歧视也没法告。就算经济好的时候，还是有很多公司
招人根本不考虑H1B，所以丢了工作面临的困境本来就比一般美国人大多了。
不过我们暂且不讨论这些。其实我这里说的不是丢工作可能多大，而是丢了工作有没有
最基本的保障。H1B要想一下子绿卡是做梦，但如果能有个法令说有几个月或者半年的
Grace period （类似于学生签证的OPT和Grace Period），总比没有强。现在的状态是
丢了工作立马就没身份，理论上立马就得卖房子买机票回国。就等于你在这里多少年的
心血全部都化为泡影了。除非你本来就打算海归的，不然这个局面太残酷了吧
两党当然都不屑于讨好H1B。我们当然是对他们无足轻重的一群人。但任何针对非法移
民的法令执行的后果肯定是连带着H1B的风险更大，丢了工作以后更没有保障。所以从
保护自己的角度说，我更倾向于同情非法移民的法律。 |
