【侨报记者林宜莹10月1日纽约报道】9月29日在曼哈顿因与摩托车骑士发生擦撞的华裔
连姓男子（Alexian Lien），在碾过重机骑士后，遭到大批摩托车骑士追逐，最后一名
骑士上前以安全帽砸破车窗窗户，将连男拖下车辆痛殴，所幸连男在经过送医救治后，
目前已无大碍。纽约市警1日公布另一涉案男子摄象，呼吁知情者提供线索，协助警方
办案。
连男在上月29日带着妻子吴罗莎琳（Rosalyn Ng，音译）及幼女出门庆祝结婚周年，就
在驾驶至西侧高速公路（West Side Highway）上时，行经一批前往曼哈顿庆祝年度摩
托车活动的摩托车骑士。
不知何故，28岁骑士Christopher Cruz突然在连男驾驶的“陆虎”（Range Rover）休

【侨报纽约网报道】周日（29日）于曼哈顿西城高速路发生的摩托党围追堵截并暴打驾
驶 Range Rover路虎SUV华人司机事件的一名涉案摩托车手，于周一（30日）被警方逮
捕并控罪。
据纽约时报报道，警察指控暴打SUV华人司机并致受害者严重受伤的摩托车手，28
岁的克里斯托弗·克鲁兹（Christopher Cruz），是新州帕塞伊克（ Passaic）居民。
该嫌犯日前被控鲁莽驾驶（reckless driving）, 鲁莽危害（reckless endangerment
），威胁及危害儿童福利罪（ menacing and endangering the welfare of a child）。
据警方说，一名叫克鲁兹（ Cruz）摩托车手，在该事件中只受轻伤，其腿未被撞断。
