参见I-20第二页，而I-20上写着如果是30天之内的美加往返则不需要交I-94. 今天坐
greyhound从buffalo到多伦多，中间是要下车一次检查visa，敲了印章但并没有收走I-
20。整趟车一起花个20分钟的样子。 |

馆25分钟，环境很好。酒店3点才能住，所以把行李寄存，在Downtown附近到处转了转

沿着安大略湖走回酒店。
15号早上7点出发，到大使馆后交材料，叫号按指纹。面签过程：

在I5上，oregon,
从pdx回家，
经过salem附近，
限速从65降到60，
没在意，当时前后都没什么车，
速度在70多点，最左边的车道，
看到前面远远的有一两白色的崭新的野马，
就慢慢的跟了上去，大概有75，
然后这个野马开始加速，
我还在奇怪，
但是决的这种车的司机开快车倒也不奇怪，
就跟上吧，
这样大概就到80左右了。
然后这个野马突然换了道，我一看前后依然没什么车，就松了油门，
当时是个长长的缓下坡，
这个野马换道以后突然开始减速。。。这时候的我居然还是没有警觉。。。
然后记得的就是后面警灯突然亮了。。。

我狡辩说gps告诉我只有72。

上周第一次去snowshoeing. 挺有意思，嘿嘿。写个流水账。
沿着58号公路过了小镇Oakridge大概半个小时，就在路边。
雪厚大概接近半米，入口处的雪都铲掉了，有个小停车场，之前要买permit.
温度不是很低感觉有5度的样子，我只穿了单裤，上面里面也只有一层速干的秋衣一个
抓绒坎肩。往里走20分钟左右吧，就看到瀑布了，水挺大的。落差有286ft，接近90米
吧。然后我们决定绕过这个瀑布去看另一个lower diamond creek falls.
一路跋涉，深一脚浅一脚的。最好戴上gaiter，非常有用。
下到那个瀑布之前有一小段非常陡，队伍中有个人就滑下去了，大概10米吧，好在下面
只是积雪比较深的那么一小块平地。。。很有意思。

根据自己的时间和兴趣，要想每个景点看一遍，至少要在里面玩三天。大部分旅行社的
线路安排都是一整天，走马观花，在几个著名景点前拍照留念，到此一游。每年的黄石
公园线路总是最受欢迎的，今年8月份的线路提前一个月就定满了。西雅图出发5天大巴
团，比起飞到盐湖城、洛杉矶、拉斯维加斯来参团有利有弊。好处是省心，从家门口出
发，5天后返回，不需要经过飞行、接机送机的麻烦，费用低很多；缺点就是，坐车时
间长。好在沿途停留的景点不少。

西雅图市的名称来自原住民酋长希尔斯（Sealth）。当最早的殖民者于1850年前后抵达

之前在版上找了很多有用的信息，
写个简单的总结。
之前的准备加拿大签证，ds160等各类准备不提。
12月19号，开车过去，
20号，面谈。
22号晚上收到DHL通知。
23号早拿到护照，一路开了回来。
还算比较顺利。
20号早上签证，在加拿大的同学建议可以用公交系统，就买了个day pass，一天之内，
所有的公共交通工具都能用，9块钱。
坐轨道交通到市中心的总站，Waterfront，出来过马路走两条街就是west pender st。
做19路直接到使馆（1075）下车，旁边有星巴克，马路对面还有一家很宽敞的咖啡店。
那天人不多，9点过了安检，9点半就出来了，很快。没问问题，直接通过了。
后来想开车过来也行，9点之前到的话，附近有几个停车场有Early bird discount,12
块钱一天parking。

LD和女儿和我一起到shoreline park跑步，顺便在stevens creek trail摘些茴香晚上
包饺子开party.
女儿曾经骑车和我跑过trail几次;LD还是头一次(虽然她每天在家四周跑),长绒衫绒裤
加帽子我看在费城跑也不会冷．还背个大相机说是拍女儿留纪念．看在winndixie
challenge invite上要求以照片为证的份上，没有complain这一身宅女出游的行头．
女儿骑车一马当先，LD缓速joggle,我身背相机腰缠fuelbelt居中策应，make sure前后
两端都在视线内，偶尔还得加速帮女儿推车过over pass，可比自己跑忙得多．还好公
园里有湖，到Hwy101前有good bayview和大雁群，然后四周都是shade with
meandering trees.到三迈女儿开始喊累耍赖，喝水吃GU,LD又悬赏$5，才穿过overpass
/under pass,过了central express way,4.5迈，照相，折返．

从晚上住的农场出来，随着日出我上路了。路上当然没有碰到其他人，可是却看见不少
生命。开着开着只见路中间有一个奇怪的形状，一脚扎停了下来。看到一个奇形怪状的
怪物。满身的刺，一动不动的在马路中间晒太阳。过了一会儿好像醒过神来才慢慢的爬
到路边，一下子融入路旁的石头上，走到跟前都看不清楚。看见的是一个thorny devil
。他们主要吃蚂蚁，非常随和。他们可以变色，害怕的时候把脑袋藏在两腿中间，生气
的时候把自己像个皮球似的吹起来。是一个面临绝种的动物，可他还一点都不知道在马
路中间坐着。一路还看到袋鼠，骆驼，牛，可是都只知道吃。没有一个像这个长刺的魔
鬼这么深沉，孤独。
最近好像就在逃跑，逃到有人的地方不自在，逃到没人的地方却又不能久留。有时候真
的想能真正的缩成一团，自己待一会儿。找到了 Kings Canyon。一坐山，中间裂了一

hours for me, since I made two stops en route.
First stop was at Goosenecks State Park, Four miles off Utah Highway 261
near Mexican Hat. I got to confront the San Juan River 1000-foot below. The
river meanders back and forth, flowing for more than five miles while
progressing only one linear mile toward the Colorado River and Lake Powell.

发帖数: 116 | 41 d5 is a tight schedule. The Red and White Fleet cruise to go below Golden
Gate is highly recommended. After drive across Golden Gate remember to
drive up the hill and see the gate from above the hill. It is so beautiful
there. If you get time I'd recommend the small town Sausalito right below
Golden Gate bridge, on the north end of the bridge. It is a nice and decent
town, good for a lunch (no chinese food though).

是仲夏夜之梦的片段，里面还用了他的string symphony no. 5 in b-flat major，用
了其中的andante和presto两段；还用了song without words op. 109 for piano and
cello. 说不定我觉得通俗的是后面这几个作品。记不清是哪个了。他十七岁就能创作
经典作品，莫扎特年纪更小；画画、写作都没有那么小而有成熟作品的，音乐创作不那
么需要经验积累、更讲天赋天才吗？他们去世都好早啊，就像英国那几个浪漫主义诗人
，一个比一个死得年轻。浪漫主义就是命不长。
还有我发现，音乐评论真难看懂啊。我把音乐系学生写的介绍抄在这里，看得我似懂非
懂，术语很多。文学评论好像没那么难看懂。艺术（音乐、画画、舞蹈等）评论可能都
比文学评论更专业、更难懂：

sex appeal per se is not an easy topic. Now we have meandered to style and
fashion style which kind of run parallel with demeanor.
now let's focus.
in my opinion, it is the skill used by those actors and actress to present
their style, i.e.气场(now I loath this word), made them stars. In words,
demeanor, "or lack thereof", separates one person from another. |
